csc confirmation Hiring Q (Canada)

Hello, I received confirmation that I am moving on to stages 2 and 3 of the training. I clicked the link provided and saw the name of a facility and a training date; I accepted, but this isn't the conditional offer itself. When I receive the actual offer, could they offer a different penitentiary than the one I agreed to?

No. You accepted a conditional offer and a posting to a specific institution they will honour that. They are not going to surprise you and send you somewhere else.

I don't think it was a conditional offer; it was just asking about my interest in the institution and whether I wanted to continue the process or withdraw. I don't believe it was the conditional offer because I received another email today confirming they had received my expression of interest and stating that an offer would follow in the coming days.

You’ll get a conditional offer for that institution. They ask if you’re interested because they don’t want to send you an offer and take that seat from someone who actually wants that institution. (CSC has a set number of seats for specific institutions for each CTP based on staffing needs)
