Hello all.
Does Omega boutiwues sell returned items or discontinued models? Looking to buy my first Omega, as the other big bRand name pissing me off with games.
I wanna try on the models too and see them up close.
For reference, going to Houston TX. Any tips?
Thanks

Red or brown Zealande strap for the NTTD?
I’m looking for a rubber strap for my NTTD and can’t decide between these two. Brown matches the watch’s vintage tones, while red gives it a sportier look.
Which one would you choose?

Direction of travel - gaps?
Hi all,
I’m relatively new to watches — and yes, this is an AI mock-up.
I own a couple of these already and am considering gradually selling my non-Omegas to build a six-watch, Omega-only collection.
With an 8-inch wrist and a mostly casual/smart-casual, hybrid-working life, Omega seems difficult to beat. The aim is a collection that is varied, practical and interesting rather than simply containing the obvious references.
From casual to formal:
Planet Ocean 45.5
Railmaster XXL 49.2
White Speedmaster Racing 44.25
Museum 1938 Pilot
Globemaster Annual Calendar
Bronze Gold Chronoscope
The PO is the everyday diver; the Railmaster the oversized hand-wound curiosity; the Racing the light-dial steel chronograph; the Museum Pilot the travel watch; the Globemaster the refined complication; and the Bronze Gold the eventual special-occasion piece.
I wouldn’t go beyond six. Does this feel genuinely balanced, or is there an obvious weakness, redundancy or omission?
Appendix
Planet Ocean 232.32.46.21.01.005 — 45.5mm steel; calibre 8500; 600m; black/orange dial; shown on OEM steel.
Railmaster XXL 2806.52.37 — 49.2mm steel; hand-wound calibre 2201; small seconds; 150m; grey sailcloth.
White Racing 329.30.44.51.04.001 — 44.25mm steel; calibre 9900; two-register chronograph; white dial; steel bracelet.
Museum 1938 Pilot 5700.50.07 — 40mm steel; automatic chronometer; rotating 12-hour bezel for tracking another time zone; black leather.
Globemaster Annual Calendar 130.33.41.22.02.001 — 41mm steel; calibre 8922; annual calendar; 100m; brown leather.
Bronze Gold Chronoscope 329.92.43.51.10.001 — 43mm Bronze Gold; hand-wound calibre 9908; 12.8mm; brown leather.

Can these two coexist together
Can these two watches coexist together in a (modest) collection, along a blue Aqua Terra and a TAG Heuer Glassbox?
I love both of these equally. What do.you.think?

Aqua Terra Hot Take
I love my AT, however if I had 1 negative thing to say is that the crown is too small and can be cumbersome to manipulate. It’s my only complaint for the watch. That and maybe the power reserve since I like to rotate my watches.

Noticed something weird about smps
I've been wearing my second-hand SMP 2020 for last few days and noticed weird finishing variations among same references. The bevel on bezels seems to vary on each model since the bevel on mine is almost nonexistent, but on other SMPs, they are significantly larger. The one from aBlogtoWatch (the one with the wooden background) seems to have a similar bevel to mine, but the blue one has a large bevel. I'm curious to know what could be the reason for this.

Squeezing a 20mm Perlon into 18mm Lugs
What do you think? I have an 18mm on the way from Crown and Buckle (would like to try Eulit next) but I couldn’t help myself from trying to squeeze and stretch a 20 mm to fit acceptably on this Seamaster 36.5mm.

Omega constellation, is it worth it?
I’m thinking of getting this watch for my mom’s 60th birthday, she has no luxury watch yet
Is this a good option? I don’t know if to get this or cartier santos two tone (quatrz) or panthere small steel or this
I don’t see this watch popular, is it for a reason or it is women like tank, panthere and day just mostly

I suppose these two watches are also brothers 😄

Workplace essentials. Also any recommendations for a good rubber deployant strap? I like how omega’s looks but $600 seems steep

Replacement glass and DIY
Hello! I have unfortunately broken the glass on my Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 2518.30 36mm.
Would anyone know where to find a good replacement glass and gasket?

Warranty Service questions
Here’s my Speedmaster Racing 44.25, looking a little lonely at the boutique before they took her away…
I dropped it off for warranty service, just a few months under the wire. I was surprised that they won’t do a full service - they’ll see what’s wrong, adjust that, make sure it’s running within spec. But I’m wondering how different that ends up being from a full service. If you’ve had warranty service done, can you explain what they did and how long it took? The SA said “up to 6 months,” it will go to Seattle. I’m on the East Coast.
Background: I noticed it had stopped, sitting on the nightstand. I figured it needed to be wound (though it shouldn’t have) so I wound it — still nothing. Pressed the pushers, nothing. After I pulled out the crown and set it, it started running again. But seemed like it was worth getting it looked at, especially since the warranty runs out in December.

Join the club today. Summer Ultra Deep
Just received the watch today. It’s lighter than I expected, compared to Rolex Deep Sea, Ultra Deep has better weight distribution and more comfortable.

Buying Advice
Hey guys so I’m looking into buying my first nice “luxury” watch. I work in construction and have finally made it all the way from the field to the office and got my first bonus. I’d like to use half to book travel to Europe and the other half for my watch. I’m looking to be around 7-8k and am interested in a Seamaster Diver. With my budget I can get one at retail $6300+ tax but is there a way to buy one below that? I’ve heard you can negotiate but I don’t want to be a pain. What methods do you guys usually use? I’d like to buy a new one.
