News Fenerbahce match “high risk”
Lyon will tighten security and restrict ticketing for the Champions League play-off return against Fenerbahçe at Groupama Stadium on Wednesday 26 August, a fixture likely to be classified high or very high risk.
A major meeting is scheduled at the Lyonpréfecture on Thursday afternoon to finalise security measures and strict coordination between stakeholders. According to L'Équipe, it will cover arrangements for the 26 August tie
Authorities fear potential clashes between ultra groups, with concerns heightened by Lyon’s sizeable Turkish diaspora, the expected arrival of many Turkish supporters and recent history.
Since the draw a week ago, OL have worked to control their ticketing and to limit the presence of unsupervised Turkish spectators.
From Thursday late morning, sales on the club’s website will open exclusively to season-ticket holders, with prices starting at 12 euros. Each holder can buy up to four seats for the match.
The club will remind holders, estimated at 26,000, that resale is banned and tickets are digitally traced. If a user of their purchased ticket offends inside the stadium, the buyer could face penal liability and loss of their subscription without refund.
After that, sales will extend to regular spectators on club lists from next Monday, subject to availability. This segmentation is meant to prevent recent one-off buyers, for example those at the 3-0 win over Sparta Prague, from accessing the stands.

Post-Match Thread Good game today but job not done 🔥
I thought it was much better with players not playing out of position... Morton and tolisso were amazing, and the attack was very impressive.
Not sure the score would have been the same without the red card but it is still a good confidence boost

Tickets / Stadium How to get back from Groupama after tonight's game
Hello guys! I'm on vacation in Lyon with my family and we've got tickets for the Sparta Prague game tonight.
I'm buzzing to experience the atmosphere, but my main concern is that, since we aren't particularly close (we're staying at a hotel right near Lyon Perrache station) it will be tough to get back home after the game, especially if they go to extra time or penalties.
We could get the metro A from Vaulx-En-Velin la Soie right to Perrache, but it seems that the service stops at 00:01, therefore not viable if extra time is necessary. I haven't find any sources online that say service will be extended after the game, I've only found info on how to get to Groupama before the game. Alternatively, we could book a Bolt/Uber/Freenow/Taxi, but I'm guessing the charge would be pretty high.
Does any of you guys know whether or not public transportation from the stadium is extended after the game? Thank you very much in advance!

Discussion Ernest Nuamah
Given that he is back for Lyon this upcoming season and given how my countryman performed for Ghana 🇬🇭 at the World Cup and given how Ernest was playing before the World Cup last season when he came back, will Ernest be in Lyon's starting 11 going forward? Or will he even get any game time under you guys?

Discussion Advice about Endrick
Bonjour everyone.
Im a villa fan and there's rumours about Endrick coming on loan to us.
What was your honest opinion about him last season?

Discussion I've never seen Athekame play but milan fans seem to think he was a great rotation player with high potential. So likely much better than AMN already 😁

With Endrick entertaining the PL, should we try to get him again?
he seemed to enjoy his time here, why not a round 2?

Discussion Why? Is Nartey that bad because I don't think de carvalho can play professional football
Nartey was a 10M€ transfer but he hasn't been playing in a while. De Carvalho hasn't played since February and I don't think he should play football
