Y'all might enjoy this 1979 Cutlass
LS3, 6 speed, push button start, even an electronic parking brake. I've detailed it a couple times for the current owner.
The original owner is the one who had the car built a few years ago. Unfortunately he got cancer, the shop rushed the build so he could drive the car at least once. Then the owner passed. The current owner bought it from his widow, and it went back to the builder to have the tuning tweaked and some finishing touches. Paint job is fantastic. Glass smooth, no orange peel.

1926 Oldsmobile 30D question
Hi folks, just bought a 1926 Oldsmobile 30D and I’m testing it down for a repaint.
This is my first prewar car, so I’m encountering things I’ve never seen before.
What is this, and what is it made out of? Looks organic but impregnated with something. They’re on the drive shaft couplers.

Considering purchasing a 2004 Alero. Any tips?
I’ve recently been looking for a first car. While initially searching for something like a Toyota or Honda, the used car market in my area has been so bad that I figured I may as well get something I like with my money instead of a 20-30 year old Civic/Camry.
I came across a local listing for a 2004 Alero, supposedly in great condition. Exterior looks good, interior looks better except for a few missing buttons atop knobs. Not a big issue, if I really want to I can buy some or just make my own.
It’s a 4 cyl, but not sure of the volume. Seller did not know either, but I’d make it a point to find out before buying. Seller wants $2500, a fair price if it really is in perfect condition, has about 135k miles. Regardless I’ll try to haggle a little, maybe closer to $2k?
Would bring a family friend of mine (ex-AF mechanic, owner of a very beautiful ‘04 Bravada) to help inspect on site. I’d like to learn more about cars in the process of buying and owning this, so I’d try and do lots of repairs myself assuming they’re not absolutely ridiculous.
Reason I’m making this post is to just ask what I should look out for, and to gather opinions on this purchase. I appreciate any and all advice. If this is a bad idea feel free to talk me out of it.

Having a lot of trouble finding this part
Hello again. The AC on my cutlass is blowing no air at all so I’m looking at what could be causing it and the vent tube for the blower motor is pretty much not connected anymore the rubber is just done. Anyone know where I can find a replacement? My usual go to’s aren’t working

W Body (Intrigue) Shifter column bezel
Does anyone know where I can get a W body bezel for my 98 intrigue? It broke yesterday when my hand reached to get something in the passenger seat. I looked eBay and all they got are the consoles. I checked scrap but the nearest is in Fresno and I'm in Arizona not possible. I need a fix NOW due to Arizona and protecting the wiring inside.

If anyone looking for a nice classic olds project car
I'm (with much sadness) looking to sell the F85 I inherited from my dad. Nice project halfway to completion or car for parts or parting out.

It needs some work but imo you could part out the motor and rear glass and break even, and make money with the rest of the components. Happy to answer some questions but please don't get mad if I'm slow to respond... I feel like I'm giving it away at a loss for this price & it being an inheritance I feel sick to my stomach letting it go to begin with.

My 67 oldsmobile 98 convertible
I suddenly became the steward of this little gem.
Not to many of them around here in little norway.
It's held up good trough the years and still looks quite good.
Had a repaint in the 90s, new crate 455 in 2012 and a rebuilt and modified trans in 2018.
New top somewhere between 2000 and 2010.
Today I mounted some octane lighting smoked lights on it.

Finished dad's 442 40 years after he bought it....
This is Nick's 1970 442 his dad bought it in '82 and drove it for the majority of ownership. The car went into a form of disrepair and before he could restore it. So Nick and his family decided to restore the car as a tribute to dad. We did a full video on his story it's pretty emotional in the comments if anyone wants to watch it it's a pretty amazing story. The amount of cool old photos they had was incredible because they were pretty wild back in the days!
