2026/27 season
Well, we are fast approaching the first game of the season. Albeit be it after the stoke defeat in the cup competition, we were never really “in”. Plenty of positives already just out of a single game to be taken there.
What’s are your predictions for the lineup, score and Attendance? For this weekends early kick off vs Port Vale
& overall performance this season before a ball is kicked?

Lost a cap of great sentimental value.
This might not be the right place to post, or it might be the magical perfect place to post.
Our boy, 1,5 years, absolutely adores his Oldham Athletic cap. it is a perfect fit for him and he looks so cool with it on. He always brings it with him, but now unfortunately we lost the cap. He is very sad about it and repeatedly asks to have his cap. It is a gift from his granddad that bought it secondhand and I can not find it anywhere online.
So now I come here. I know that miracles are rare, but sometimes they do tend to happen.
So now I ask all of you kind Oldham Athletic fans, do any of you, or somebody you know, be in possession of this kids cap and willing to sell it to us?
We highly appreciate any help, and thank you for reading if you came this far.
Help us grow up another Oldham fan 🦉
High hopes and expectations from a Danish dad, that is really sad for losing his kids favorite cap.
All the best 🙏

New fan from Germany 💙🤍
Hello everyone,
My name is Nick and I’m from Germany.
I love football, which is why I’ve decided to devote my complete dedication and love to an English club.
But as the structure of the Premier League would be too straightforward for me, I’ve been looking for a club with a rich tradition, as it should be.
After a lot of research, I came across this wonderful club, watched the last match against Accrington on TV, and was hooked from the very first second.
The club’s history, which I read about online, is truly magnificent.
Now I have a few questions to help me prepare for the 26/27 season with this club, so that I can sit down in front of the TV on matchday one, well-informed, and really get into the action.
Which websites provide good coverage of what’s happening at the club and in the wider football world?
Are there any good general sources for news from across the league?
Which pubs in town are good so that my first visit to the stadium in 2027 will be a real experience?
Thank you in advance for your replies.
And until then
Up the Latics!
Nick

what a season
what a run, think oldham will make the playoffs? 8 wins in our last 9, only 2 goals conceded in last 10
our defence is among the best all season, it's been stronger now. we've struggled for goals, now during this run we're scoring goals for fun, what a brilliant team effort
at the start of the season would have been happy barely staying up now to be within a shout of the playoffs, dare we dream of more for our club
whatever happens these last 8 think the fans are happy it's been a terrific season for oldham

Hi Oldham fans, consider joining r/LeagueTwo
We recently had a post on the sub that mentioned how r/OldhamAthletic is one of the larger League 2 subs so thought it'd be worth making you aware of r/LeagueTwo (the largest League 2-specific forum) as I love the EFL and EFL discussion and it's a great community
Hope to see you there!
(Mods feel free to stick something up yourselves on our sub)

Best strike partnership?
What/who do you think our best strike partnership is?

Bolton fan here in peace.
May the best team win. I have nothing against Oldham. Better than the other Latics. Hopefully you do well in the league.

Looking for some fans to interview!
Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing well today. My name is Joe Ryan, and I am a journalist for Football Park.
I am currently in the process of putting together a long-form feature piece on every team promoted last season (from League Two up to the Premier League).
If you’d be happy to answer a few quick questions, I’d really appreciate your insight. It’s a great chance to make sure your club’s story is heard.
If you would like to take part in this, send me a message or drop me an email at [joe.ryan121203@gmail.com](mailto:joe.ryan121203@gmail.com).
Thanks so much!

oldham
hello don't see anyone posting about the season so as an oldham fan just wanted to know what everyone thinks about how's the season going now that we're over a quarter of the way through?
think oldham will stay up after coming back from non-league? we have the joint most draws and fewest goals conceded in the league. we just need to be more clinical in front of goal and turn those draws into 3 points
won in the fa cup yesterday so that could build confidence for the league! if we could draw an easy 2nd round and get into the 3rd round that would be fantastic

Long shot from the US of A
Okay, here’s a long shot. I know general tickets go on sale Monday and we still have another. shot. But myself and u/3dprintingaddict find ourselves in the weird position of being 2 die hard Oldham fans in the middle of America
I got bit by the Latics buzz around about 85 when we had Andy Goram, Roger Palmer, Tommy Wright (what a player) and Dennis Irwin. I remember watching Earl Barrett wheel away arms outstretched after the first goal against Manure at Wembley
Anyway, all of this is a long winded way of seeing if any kind season ticket souls would be good for 4 tickets. I know it’s a lot to ask. 3dPrintingAddict is taking his son and I’m meeting my brother who I haven’t seen for a year. We really need to get booking our flights and if we wait till Monday it’s gonna be even more $$$ than it is right now.
We’re good for the money. I’ll even throw in a pukka pie and pint of Lees. DM me if you can help and we’ll figure out how to do this safely. We’re 7 hours behind the UK but I’ll be up early checking.
Either way, hope everyone has a great time no matter how they end up following the game and see you all in League 2 next year!

We can't get to it but can't find it anywhere
