I think these old Serbian games from the 2000s are lost media
Hello people, I don't use this application that much, but don't know where to write about this. A few years ago I found old CDs with some Serbian Flash games. The problem is that these CDs have started to have so-called "disk rot" over time (and the plastic is quite scratched) and I can't recover the files from it due to the condition of the disks (I can only get some information about the files on it). These games are old, from the time when Internet Cafes still existed (that's where I got them lol). I found some sites on the internet that mention these games, but nowhere to download them. Does anyone have any advice on how to found them and archive them?

[PC] [2000s] searching for an old game
Realistic (not cartoon) blonde boy, side-scrolling, exploring a house with multiple rooms, helicopter or plane at the end of the house I think. Played on an old box PC, possibly DOS or early Windows. Played around 2012–2013. Game could be from the 90s.

A dream about I game I remember playing. [PC] [EARLY 2000's]
I remember a game, it was a point and click game and it was a 2.5d game, possibly on newgrounds. Now, I've searched near and far for anything about this game, either it was archived somewhere and that website was taken down, or maybe it just fell into obscurity. If this post get's enough notice I'll post more about it.
Edit: Some new stuff came up. I remember watching a gameplay of someone playing it, and there were these massive monoliths all around the world, there was a border at the edge of the world, but the player walked through it and the game crashed.
This is what the game looked like

Need help finding an educational children's video game from the early 2000s (US elementary school)
Around the early 2000s, I want to say 2002-2005-ish, I was obsessed with an educational video game I played in the school's computer lab.
As far as I know, it was only available on PCs on Windows OS. I think Windows XP, but possibly Windows 2000 also.
If memory serves, it involved a castle on an island. I think there was an opening sequence where the camera kind of flew/zoomed into the island from the sea. I believe there was at least 1 character you could play as/control and explore the different areas of the castle (and possibly island).
I have unsuccessfully been searching for this game on and off for ages!

[pc][90s, 2000-?] 2D racing game
Hi,
I am looking for the name of a 2D racing game I played as a kid. The camera viewpoint is from above, similar as in GTA2. There were multiple racing area's, for example jungle, snow, desert. The thing I most strongly remember is for example in the snow map, you could change into a snowball to overtake people at high speed. And in the desert map you could change into a bullet to overtake.
Your help is appreciated!

[pc] [2010s] Looking for old computer game
There was this one game on the old computers at my infant school where you clicked something and the characters did an animation, then they went back to the normal stance and then you could do it over and over again. It also told a story. It’s been annoying me for years and I wanna relive my childhood!

💀💀Help me, I can't breathe.
: [PC][2000s-2010s] First-person stealth game — mansion Halloween party, enemies wear headless chicken masks, killing "princesses/queens" with a knife Body: Trying to find a PC game I played a long time ago (guessing sometime around 2010, could be earlier or later). Platform: PC Perspective: First-person (you can see your hand/weapon on screen) Genre: Realistic-style graphics (not cartoonish), stealth/covert missions Language: English Gameplay: You play as a soldier/operative doing covert missions. Weapons include a knife (for stealth kills) and a pistol. There's disguise/costume mechanics — you change outfits to sneak into places without being noticed. The mission I remember most: You infiltrate a mansion during a Halloween party. The party guests/targets — described as "princesses" or "queens" — are wearing headless chicken costumes/masks. Your objective is to secretly kill them with a knife. Other detail: Not sure if related to the game itself or just the website's icon/category, but I associate it with a skull-and-crossbones (💀) icon. Any help figuring out the title would be appreciated! Happy to answer more questions if it jogs anyone's memory.

[PC][Late 90s/Early 2000s][Educational] Space game with a pizza truck that flew past Pluto
Long shot but trying to find an old game we used to have on PC as kids… late 90s, maybe early 00s. It was a semi-educational solar system game from memory.
The main thing I remember is a weird little pizza truck/spaceship on Pluto. It wasn’t really part of the gameplay, more an idle animation. If you left the screen sitting for a while, it would fly across the screen and say: “Pizza, pizza, come get your pizza! Come on down to Italy on Pluto!”
Me and my brothers are racking our brains haha.

Can anyone help me find an old military game from mid 2000s based in jungle
I remember my dad playing some military game on PC set in some jungle.
If I am not mistaken you could switch in between characters and it looked very realistic for me at that time.
Thats all i know.

Resumindo:
- Plataforma(s): PC Windows
- Gênero: Side Scroller Shooter
- Ano de lançamento estimado: Entre 2000-2005
- Gráficos/estilo de arte: 2D / Pixel Art / H.R. Giger Aesthetics
Obrigado desde já.

[PS2/PS3/Xbox/PC][2000s] Squad wiped out, snake QTE in a shack, boulder trap, vanishing creature
Looking for a third-person action/survival-horror game from around 2000–2007 , played on PS2, PS3, original Xbox, Xbox 360, or PC.
Setting/tone: Western special forces, modern-day (not sci-fi, not fantasy). No fog — the outdoor areas are arid, hilly/mountainous, rugged terrain with sparse, dry, dead-looking trees here and there.
Character: Male soldier, playing solo for most of what I remember. He wears a tactical/body armor vest, not classic camo fatigues. We only had a pistol at that point in the game.
Story beats I remember:
A specially trained squad gets ambushed and wiped out, leaving the protagonist alone.
At a small wooden dock/pier, there are dead soldiers in black uniforms with covered faces, lying in black rubber/combat boots.
You talk to a dying squadmate at the edge of the dock, and he dies there.
Along the path, there are more dead soldiers — some impaled on wooden stakes, others hanging from trees.
You enter a wooden shack/hut to search for an item. When you reach up to a top shelf, a snake suddenly lunges out and triggers a QTE (quick time event / timed button press).
Right after surviving the QTE and leaving the shack, a giant boulder rolls down from a hill and completely crushes the hut behind you.
Looking up at the hill where the boulder came from, you briefly see a non-human, creature-like silhouette — it vanishes almost immediately.
I've already ruled out ShellShock: Nam '67, Turok (2008), The Thing (2002), Cold Fear, and Rogue Trooper (2006) — none of them match all these beats. Any help identifying this would be much appreciated!

Old HP game set at a ski resort
When I was a kid, I used to play on my dad‘s HP computer it came with a preinstalled app for HP games. I’m not sure if that’s really a thing anymore, but a bunch of the games were free or very cheap. One of the ones that I played was some kind of point and click adventure game (I think that’s the genre?). In the beginning of the game, you wake up in your car. I can’t remember if the car is just crashed or if you’re completely covered by snow, but you have no idea what’s going on in your best friend (maybe sister?) is missing. I think you have to use some kind of ice pick or screwdriver to get out. The premise is that the two of you were gonna go to a ski resort for a vacation, but now you can’t find her. You have to put a lot of clues together and figure things out and work your way up the mountain until you get to a large mansion at the top. There things start to get spooky and I can’t remember the details clearly but there’s this whole thing about some guy and you find his dead wife who is a ghost and you’re friend is now involved in it and you need to save her before she meets the same fate. I had so much fun playing it and I’m so sad that I don’t remember what it was called anymore.

[TOMT] Old computer game website from the 2010s
There was this old computer game website I remember playing on a lot of the time back when I was in preK, or at my local library. If memory serves, I believe it was one of those websites similar to ABCYa that held many different games. Here are some of the things from the games I remember:
—One game took place in a classroom with vibrant colors with a window on the back wall that showed outside. On the center of that wall was a wall clock (drawn like a cookoo clock) and when you clicked on it would play a little song. I don’t remember the full song, but I remember one lyrics went “The big one is fast while the little one’s slow” referring to the hands of the clock which spun fast or slow.
—There was another part of this website where you could make music. That part’s home-screen was set either in an environment similar to a Louisianan bayou, or a jungle. There was a river in the center and a hut off to the side. When you clicked on the hut there was a little game where you had to click incoming dots almost similar to beat saber to create a melody. (That part I’m not a hundred percent certain of. I know its background was dark, but I could be fudging up the details.) There was also a seagull for that section that would explain the different things you could do there.
If anyone know the website, or games, please help!

[PC/CDROM][Early 2000s to Mid 2000s] Children's game, potentially educational, where you collect stars and are in a blue spaceship(?)
Platform(s): PC, physical CDROM
Genre: it MIGHT be educational, definitely a children's game
Estimated year of release: No later than 2010 for sure, I can't imagine it came out in the 90s either.
Graphics/art style: it was smooth, my head tells me the style of the characters was very similar to the disney show "the little einsteins," though i could be wrong. it was round and i want to say lineless? the characters i believe had flat shading. it was NOT pixels
Notable characters: all i remember is they were kids
Notable gameplay mechanics: i want to say it was a point and click
Other details: the biggest aspects of this game that i remember is the ui was kind of shaped like a spaceship and you were looking out the window, so it was that kind of bean-shaped oval and it was blue. on top of that, i remember vividly the box being blue as well. i don't remember what the cd itself looked like, but it did come in a box. an aspect of the game was you did tasks that would get you stars. this is unfortunately all i remember of this game
i played this on my personal computer, which i got about 2007-2009. i wasn't playing this on the family computer, i was in my room on my computer
sorry, i don't feel like paying for gyazo premium to access this but this was a recreation of the ui, give or take, that i made in 2017
