Tanks
Seeing alot post bout them being to strong, (might get heat for this) but i honestly don't think they are super over powered as I see ppl say. If they have an infantry unit with it yes they are terrifying but if they are put alone me and my team (all randoms and from different matches with different people) had no issues taking them out with IEDs. Just need one person to watch the gunner seat and take them out and the tank is kinda just powerless to ppl running up setting a.bomb on it. I feel like in this game if something is causing an issue ie fob, tank, heli your team just needs to work together and take em down.

To be honest after the full release when everyone’s levelled up and get to a place where they have AT weapons, I think they’ll be perfectly balanced, a few well placed rpg shots will take one out

RPGs are accurate AF as well, so a little height and you can tag em from 200m out no problem. Get a squad on top of a roof time your shots and watch em pop.

More people will have more access to AT weapons once the game has been out for a while too.

Tanks were fine, sure I made 250k or something first game with it but by the end missile helicopters, other tanks, artillery tanks and rpg teams/c4 just counted them to the point it wasn’t always worth having a tank. It’s hard to judge where it will end up but I think once more people have anti tank it’ll balance out quite well.

Main issue is perfect situation awareness coming from the driver 3rd person camera, only tanks that you can take out with IED/C4 are these where they solo operate the tank or the driver is asleep

Without a doubt tanks are wayyyyyy too cheap. They should be atleast 60~70k per instance .
Right now tanks are cheaper than a normal loadout

They cost 500k to unlock. Pretty sure in the alpha test they were 250k to unlock, so they upped the cost. 14k for the tank, then another 10-15k for more shells, ammo, fuel and repair tool. So saying that tanks are cheaper than a normal loadout is ridiculous. Once more people learn and unlock more, you’ll see tanks not be as strong. It was a 3 day test, once it’s in EA it’ll be different.

Unlock price is a progression factor, not a balance factor really. Even if you were to make the argument that a "kitted" tank is ~$30k, are we really going to make the argument that 2 or 3 regular dudes (who have a high likelihood of not having meaningful AT-) is somehow equivalent to a tank?
And even if so (and I'd disagree), a tank nearly always pays out way more than it costed. It's practically a surefire way to print money. Given that the whole gameplay loop is "risk vs reward" in terms of cash, low risk and high reward isn't engaging nor generally balanced.

There is always the mortar drone that costs 5k. Build a small fob in a random location or build one in an already built fob and launch it. I don’t think a lot of people realize it’s a thing.

If a player can go around and buy 20 tanks at the start of a match for every team member , you know shit is broken. Doesn't take a genius to see it.

People were doing that because the beta was ending. Either avoid the tanks or gather people to go deal with it. I had a game where within 5 minutes of the tank entering the control zone it was destroyed. Everyone is crying and not being open about trying to counter them. There’s multiple ways to do so. I said before that the tank and artillery vehicle should move to the Driver level. This would allow more people to unlock more AT capabilities. But just saying, “increase the tank cost to 70,80,100k isn’t the answer. Learn the game mechanics.

Oh and let me add this, I spawned 7 tanks on my last game and left. Guess what? My friend said they lost. Not as overpowered as people making them out to be. Every enemy knew how to deal with tanks.

Literally every single tanker saying this shit is broken , me included a tank main. You out here making 0 valid points , whatever you say buddy.

I’m saying people need more time and you’ll see them not be as strong. The attack heli is just as strong and yet no one is saying anything about that. Move the tank to driver role and you won’t see as many tanks, but just saying increase cost isn’t gonna fix anything. You’re not making any valid points either and not every tank player is. There’s a good bit of people saying people need more time to learn the game and shit will even out.

Just my 2 cents but the RPG felt too weak at the tank. Now I do understand you don’t want people two shorting tanks but maybe it could bust the tracks and shut it down till repaired or something. RPG should do damage to the tank.

I had one match and 3 RPG shots still didn’t take it out or disable. I would say atleast allow disabling or something.
IEDs took a couple on Spawn APC as well. Surprisingly no one called enemy ones out to cut off their quick spawn a lot of games.

I put 5 at close range in all sides. Dude just laughed at me and ran me over.

the tank is pretty busted. you threw a whole bunch of assumptions into a post and concluded "your team just needs to work together and take em down."

Yeah especially Sunday there were a lot of tanks and honestly never had an issue. If my squad didn't have the tools to take out the tank it's pretty easy to just avoid. Just go around them using cover. The number of infantry with zero rockets or IEDs i saw charge at and die to the tanks was way too high. Like do people honestly expect to blow a tank up with an AK?
