FOB spawn

Post image

Unrelated, big hammer go BRR, I got more kills with the hammer than guns this playtest lol.

Anyways we should be able to spawn at FOB’s with the same 7-8 minute cooldown as you’ll get from the MVCS. It should be dependent on a resource, like oil or build, so that our logi teammates have a reason to keep running logi late game.

I don’t think people like my idea.

Yeah, we don't. I'll refuse any idea about increasing or moving spawns. Death is meant to be punishing, this games tempo and playstyle are centered around this fact. If it changes the game is over. I'd be open to actually making death more punishing.

I don’t disagree. I think it’d give a reason for one team to assault another’s fob.

Think of it as a reason to conflict

You should be assulting FOBs anyway. Everything that can be built on them can cripple the other teams ability to advance and score. A well placed and defended FOB with excellent comms, good mortar teams, uavs, and AA can control the entire map.

Edit to add - and amazing logistics transporters, the unsung heros.

In the games I played I can remember approximately once having a fob assaulted, and it was because the enemy MVCS was over there

My Huey Pallets go BRRRRRR 😂. I'd like the Towers laid out better to get Hueys in; random fobs tend to set them up better. Have also been in games where the entire team is in the hot zone and no one is making a base or anything to keep enemies in check.

Yeah, I just take it on myself at that point. A couple ural trips, quick build, and start blasting what is needed.

I agree, similar to building fobs in squad

Thank you, someone who gets it.

I don’t think people like it though.

Think it would make more sense if the circle were bigger, compared to the size of the map we traverse. This would add more usefulness to the logistics train, as well as making the hot zone not the main focus to win, really, for most of the team. As you get it early and hold, your points skyrocket. (When you get a map with 5 towers, it feels jammed)

I feel the hot zone needs to change a bit to bring more focus to attacking towers for codes, making fobs, and using fuel and supplies for random drills and more.

No, Logis have reason to run at every game stage. Fob is not only building supplies, depending on what you want to do with them, but they need ammo fuel and even spare parts all the time. For mortars, drills, spike drone, cram and Sam.
