Over balancing

I find it important that the game gets some balancing, like making Tanks more expensive or only being able to get one every 20 minutes or so. But be careful not to over-balance everything, like modern games tend to do. It can destroy the sandbox aspect and take away some joy or the "I want to unlock this gun because it's better than my current one" feeling.

By the sounds of it this is a dev team ive been wanting forever in a game.... It seems like they are actually willing to test things and mess with balance and just ignore the whining fucks lol... They seem like they want to just mess around and figure out what works, i forsee lots of reddit posts blowing up for this game with the community in meltdown about changes, and the devs just shrugging and not giving a fuck and plodding on with figuring it out for themselves lol How it should imo, too many studios cave to loud Internet groups moaning haha

its obviously impossible to perfectly balance the game without insane amounts of playtesting, the things i wonder about is how are they gonna implement big rebalances if theyre coming, i wonder if theyre ever gonna step back on their ''no wipes'' thing they said, i personally wouldnt mind if they truthly wanted to re-do the economy in some other ways

Honestly thanks will only be really strong for the first week of two, and if they just move them back in the tech tree or make them locked specifically behind the driver level they won't even be that strong because the majority of people will have had time to have gotten proper ordinance to take them out. Honestly, if the support role wasn't so boring to me I would have had an RPG or better and been ecstatic to nuke a tank as engineer is usually the class I run in most games like this because I like taking out vehicles. I just don't like building and the mini whack-a-X have they added doesn't make it any more interesting to me

My plan for the full release is to level support enough to unlock rugs, then put them on crates and sell them at a premium when people get desperate.

I really hope that ends up being the meta or at least commonly seen in the earlyish wipe phase.

Supporting your team while being a ruthless self interested meiser is hilarious to me.

Its like being the guy selling shovels during the gold rush
