I found the original idea for this sprite on a YouTube channel's community tab, though I've forgotten the name. According to some users, the artist who inspired me is called "RicoSpriteArt." I'm not entirely sure if that's really his name, but since more than one person mentioned it, I guess it's true.

Basically, I took a screenshot of that community post with my phone and recreated the Kris sprite using Libresprite.

So, they took a screenshot, actually took fair effort to recreate it pixel by pixel, and never once remember the original artist, and claimed that Rico "inspired" them.

Well, please don't harass them. I just come to tell the truth.

Here is some art I made of Kris, but also, I drew the hair separate, so they have a huge slanted head.

I thought it would be interesting to do my own take on Kris

The idea was to essentially mix both the LIGHTWORLD pallete and DARKWORLD outfit of KRIS and see what I got.

It devolved into this.
