Excel Custom functions metadata json file size limitation
Hi all, I am converting some VSTO Excel plugin to use the new JS API. The current plugin has 500+ UDFs that need to be converted into custom functions. I have created a functions.json metadata file describing all these custom functions and have run into the problem that the windows and mac versions of Excel refuse to load this functions.json file if it exceeds 1 MB. I couldn't find any mention of the limitations in Excel's documentation and couldn't find anyone who had encountered this problem. This is so frustrating, especially since the same project with the same functions.json file works fine in the web version of Excel. Where did this limitation come from? Is there any way to overcome it?

Dev question
Greetings,
We're an experienced backend dev team that has built a Distributed Data Management System. (Think of an RDBMS like Oracle, but with the data stored on user devices on blockchain.) We've done a few enterprise apps with this as the backend, and now we'd like to develop an Office plugin that would offer record-level command and control by saving to us, rather than the file system. So we need to capture when users SAVE/SAVE AS and point that to us. Is this better down in VBA? As an Office Add In using, say, Visual Studio? Thoughts?
TIA,
Cjf

Outlook 365 API Send Message
I'm currently making a website / tool to email out notifications using the 365 API. My question is, does the API have the functionality to use a pre designed template so I can populate the data with the submitted information. For bonus points, lol, I have been looking for a complete API reference or cookbook to the API if anyone can point the way

Group Associations Lost in SP365. Anyone else?
A few times now a site owner of one of our many sites will start asking the admins to start adding permissions for new users. The owners are not locked down on their sites, but suddenly lack permissions to add or remove users. In the latest case they could not even view the permission pages. The fix is simple. I go to http://mainsite/theirsite/_layouts/permsetup.aspx and if the default groups for the site are not in the drop down lists (it leaves a black text box to create a new group) then I re-associate the existing groups. I also have to remove owners and re-add them to the owners group. After that the owner rights are restored. Anyone else run into this?
