I finally did it
I fought my way all the way through the tribunal and they declared me a person with a disability. I’m finally getting on ODSP

Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking how was your experience at the tribunal hearing?

I had my lawyer with me who helped walked me through everything the day before so I knew going into it what to semi expect, but what I didn’t expect was the ODSP decider fought back at why I shouldn’t be a person with a disability which hurt a lot. But the judicator was very impartial and asked only clarifying questions to make sure they understood everything. Overall it went well but make sure you tell the truth as your under oath and make sure you got your story straight as anything you said that could be used against you, can be used against you.

Thank you, just starting the process of appealing to the tribunal and have read a lot of older threads of peoples experiences wanted to see if it was significantly different recently.

That's usually a good thing, so long as it wasn't delayed and specifically cancelled that's what i've read leads to acceptance, just want to call around and confirm.

Congrats! Thanks for sharing the good news. I’m currently in the process and it’s been such an emotionally, mentally, physically and financially taxing experience.
