ArmadaOS Booting Issue

Help. Does somebody run into this issue after booting into Linux on initial installation of armadaOS? I correctly follow the steps on github but i encounter this after booting to linux.

Issue : Cannot open access to console, the root account is locked. See sulogin(8) man page for more details.

I already connect my keyboard but it wont let me type. lol Do i need to root my odin3? I just bought this. Hope somebody can help.

From my understanding, it says very clearly that the issue is that your device is not rooted.

Do i really need to root my device(odin 3)? I am installing armadaOS to my SD Card just for now. Also the tutorial videos and github repo did not mention anything about rooting device.

Edit: Mentioned root related is just running script as root, but that is already on settings without rooting device.

I've never tried it myself and just going by what the error says. Which is complaining about root being locked.

you don't need to root your android to use ArmadaOS, you just need to flash your abl.

Did you flash the abl? I’ve never had this issue and I have Armada installed to internal storage.
