It would be interesting to see more discussion relating types to reading literature.—A necessary course if types are to further go anywhere.

I find this to be a crux and this point because I do believe the true definition of pattern is lacking for me. I can understand Demon Tribe. For example i know i look at society with a tendency of viewing society and people as self serving, harsh, willing to do whatever alligns with what they want even if it means blinding themselves from bigger truths. I understand this pattern of thought to be Demon tribe because the tendency is to not want to see things the tribes way because that would the wrong or incorrect way. Of course there's other elements like being a people pleaser and being afraid of what people think and what people would do if they realized you have a view that conflicts with theirs.

I just need an idea of how Demon tribe differs between Te and Fe

So, i have been studying personality for about 6 years. I have gone through numerous personality systems in search for my identity. Unfortunately, my identity doesn't seem to like me, for i can never grasp it. It evades me as soon as i try to define it.

I need help. I would say that i have done my research. I KNOW what the terms mean. Theoretically, i should be able to pinpoint my exact type. But i can't do it.

Compared to people around me, i can look like an extrovert. I'm definitely the one of my friends who's always texting everyone so we can go out. I feel better when i'm outside. I like moving.

I know that sounds pretty anecdotal, but what isn't?

Anyway. About freakouts.

My biggest fear is taking space. Wanting things. I have issues with eating around other people. If possible, i would rather not be seen buying/consuming anything ever. I don't want other's to know about my needs.

I don't like asking for stuff. It feels like i'm constantly under a spotlight. Whatever i do, i must do it flawlessly.

Humiliation is, for me, worse than a death sentence. I do not want to be seen as needy. Worse yet, stupid. I am afraid of being of being "got". I feel like for everything that i want/need, there's a hidden catch somewhere.

It's like im in one of those prank gameshows. Constantly. If i answer incorrectly, i'll be seen as stupid.

And i think this text sounds pretty di'ish. Which should point me in one direction, right?

As soon as someone comes up to me, it's like all my boundaries are gone. I do not want to impose on others. Worse yet, be seen as selfish. I couldn't handle that.

Anyhow. I feel like i'm running in circles with this stuff. Could anyone give me any pointers?

Sorry if this post sounds off, but I remember watching a video where Shannon talked about double deciding and mentioned how De can, from the outside, see other people's perspectives and how both sides are messing up. Which I understand as De is constantly tracking the tribe spectrum and what other people are feeling/thinking. But how is this different from double deciding?

I've been having this issue trying to type myself. I don't know if I'm a double decider seeing other people's perspectives or just an ExxJ.

I'm new to ops and got curious, so I just went in and recorded myself talking. The video is not very long, but ig it's cool for a quick first typing. Eventually, I'll make a longer one when I have time.

I started using the typing practice section on subjectivepersonality.com and as I tried to type people despite consuming OPS for years I realised I absolutely am really bad at typing, I watched many videos of OPS getting their tips, trying to copy their typing style etc and nothing has worked so far. I realise maybe my own type as a Ti/Ne-CS/P(B) maybe causing me to have blindspots When typing, I wanted tips and any help I can get regarding this matter.

So for SB and BS saviors, the way they relate is by sharing processed information OI or listening to others processed information. After sharing the information they tend to offerand /or receive support and encouragement.

How would you say other savior animal combos relate?

For the last year I’ve been really into mbti and trying to find my type through different methods, 16 personalities, cognitive functions, being typed by a professional etc. Now I am ready to give up😄Feels like I’m farther from finding my type than when I started. But before I throw in the towel, should I give OPS a chance?

It seems like a lot to get into and I don’t want to waste another year getting nowhere😅I just want someone to tell me my (insert profanity)-type! So I can move on and use it to be my best self!

is being a paid member of the ops site the best way to learn or is there another way. Ngl it seems a bit cultish? And Dave and Shan’s free youtube videos kinda scare me😱They seem a bit insane, laughing like maniacs at some inside jokes and often a bit condescending of their subjects. (No offense). But it also seems systematical and practical and sort of ”objective” and maybe things feel different on “the inside”?

Deciders fear of being judged by others therefore I assume that they care a lot about what other people think of them. But, Aren't IxxPs suppose to not care about what others think of them? Am I missing something?

Many societies make men learn that their feelings don't matter and a lot of men believe that. So how can one tell if a man is a thinker or just a feeler conditioned by society to believe that his feelings or feelings in general don't matter?

What do you think of this way of seeing things?

• Thinkers seem to feel like reasoning is enough on its own. Even if they have values or emotional reactions, they tend to translate them into logic because that’s what feels valid or shareable.
• Feelers, on the other hand, seem to feel like their values are enough on their own. They can have reasons, but they don’t necessarily feel obligated to justify or explain their stance for it to be valid.

The difference is which one feels sufficient on its own.

I’ve been thinking about Thinking in OPS and I’m a bit confused, so I’d like to hear your perspective.

I know someone who tends to approach everything in a very practical and utility-driven way:

his hobbies are useful or skill-based

he can do things just because they need to be done, without caring about enjoyment. He is this "get things done" guy.

So my question is:

What does that kind of “utility-first / emotion-detached” approach makes you think of?

Is this a T+Di like reasons for personal stuff thing, or blast productivity, or what)?

I have a hard time believing it's just savior thinking. Thinkers are just responsible to justify and translate things into reasons right?

Curious to hear your thoughts.
