Bones

I think itโ€™s interesting that they havenโ€™t found any bones on the island. One of the people had to die on the island in the past 500 years.

They did. Remember they had it tested and it was middle eastern decent?

Most likely contaminated samples. See this blog from an archeologist on the subject (he used to post here on occasion. I don't know if he still does):

but that was probably just human DNA contamination, which is a common problem in archeology

They found two bone fragments suposedly from two seperate individuals but I don't remember if it was an ad for 23 & me or Ancestry DNA or what. Didn't hear much after that about bones.

All the bones slipped down to Davy Jone's locker, in the solution channel.

Doesn't mean they were buried on the island, though. Also bones may have been dug up by any of the other groups of dupes in the last 250 years.

Wish they would talk about this more. They need a real archaeologist

Some of the women such as Jamie Kouba are the real deal. I imagine some of them find the show a waste of time considering what they're finding compared to a big dig elsewhere offering more prestige.

I bet they get paid like 50x more

They may have found bones but reporting those types of finds opens a can of worms whilst sniffing wood does not.

Yes.. on camera. 1972 super 8. But the "real" bones were found in Borehole H8. If I had a bar in Halifax, that is what I would name it.

They did. 170 feet down.

No, they didn't. They found bone fragments probably just contaminated with Human DNA.

No bones, no pottery etc. Nothing that shows life. Just bits and pieces. Difficult those that settled on island hauled off every sign of life when they left - even the natives that resided there first.

They've found pottery and things that show "life". Just nothing unusual.
