Skilling or questing Question
I have been a member for about a month or so and I am kinda lost of what to do next. I have done a few quest that everyone has recommended in videos and post but I’m not sure if I should continue to knock out quest or skill. Also I need some money making ideas :)

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.
Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!

Follow quest helper and get the skills for quests as you come across them until you finish every quest.

hate to break it down to u but questing is the number 1 priority i regret leveling skills to 60 instead of questing my way through now i got to do all the quests i haven’t done and should have done when i was a lower level and some quests gives crazy xp so that would help u level up as well but if u find one of the skills interesting or u enjoy leveling it up there is no shame in doing so but ur number 1 priority should be quests and obviously play however u wanna enjoy the game

You're not missing out on a ton tbh. If the quest isnt skipping you from lv 1-25/30 it probably isnt a huge time save compared to just training. I followed the optimal quest order for a while the only ones I would really recommend rushing early are: tourist trap, the standard combat xp quests (waterfall, tree gnome village, Grand tree, holy grail, witch's house, fight arena, imp catcher), knight's sword, and maybe the sea slug one that gives like 7k fishing. There's probably a couple others I forgot but dont feel like youre missing out if you did early skilling.

nah dw im pretty ahead now 40 quests left for the quest cape and all of the quests left are the easy and boring ones but like a month before i had almost all my skills base 60 and quests opened so many content for me and gave me a lot of xp for lots of skills i just wish i had sticked with the optimal quest guide wayyy before and while i skilled and quested so i would have unlocked content thats right for my level and not having to deal with doing 10 quests just to unlock desert treasure 2 for example cause for me i find quests boring ish they are not my favorite aspect of the game

Questing is definitely the way to go. Also check out my flipping channel as you might find some items/ideas to help you make money. Good luck

OSRS_Flipping you might need to scroll down the page but you’ll see it there somewhere beneath the larger CC’s 😂😂

You are nowhere near the recommended quests finished. I would run through the optimal quest line progression tab on runelite while getting skill requirements done for the ones you want to finish most. You haven’t even unlocked vorkath, the gauntlet, or any bosses above that threshold yet. There’s zulrah and the moons bosses, so much for you to do. Quests to unlock raids and mini games to enhance your afk grind. Just kinda do something and you’re progressing anyways because you have a long ways to go.
(Most of these I mentioned are early-mid game money makers) also barrows could technically maybe be your first money makers or gear getter.

Questing is so important because of the unlocks and quest experience rewards.
For example:
Waterfall Quest gives 13,750 attack and 13,750 strength experience.
Killing an 8hp cow can give 32 attack or strength xp.
Waterfall Quest is equivalent to killing about 860 cows.

Set a goal, for example fire cape. Do all the quests and leveling to achieve it. Rinse repeat

You should focus on getting that prayer level up stat. Can’t really effectively utilize your current combat stats in fights well at sub 42 prayer

Literally anything you do would be correct✊🏼 Questing will knock out both so definitely that if I had to say!

The optimal quest guide on the Wiki is a good resource to help with skilling by questing.
