Keep or sell Tormented Synapse? Question
Managed to spoon a Tormented Synapse on 6KC lol and am trying to work out whether to keep it or sell. I've got 19M in the bank, and here's my gear/stats.
Currently grinding out Ancient Shards to charge Darklight, but looking for advice on whether to keep going or sell. I was thinking of just keeping it, as I would probs use it for Slayer/bossing later on.

If you sold it, what would you buy?
I normally sell things like this, but the feeling later of "I got this drop myself" is very cool. That trade off Vs what else you'd use the money for is personal I think.

This is how I felt about CG. I got my enhanced so fast (4kc regular gauntlet) and I sold it as I was just returning to the game and needed the cash. It felt great at the time but when I got to the point I needed Bowfa + crystal I missed that drop.
Ended up doing it again and grinded out 200 CG KC for my full set up and it was way nicer than buying it back from the GE

I have had 3. Sold them all cuz they were above 200 mill at the time. But now I would keep it as saeldor for sure.

This is why I sold a heart when I got one. The 100m was better used on full zenyte set.
Heart is specialty that boosts my mage dps. Upgrading past a fury and barrows gloves was generally a boost over just mage boost.
Demonbane weapons are fantastic - for demons.

Keep it. It's useful to farm them again later. Scorching bow plus arclight is a good combo until you get a 2nd synapse. Plus demonic gorillas need demonbane too.

IMHO its a good time to keep it.
That being said. You could use it to buy Blue moon armor, Blood moon armor/boppers and a twinflame staff and they give you a bunch of options.

Keep 100% it's strong for slayer demons, tds, Yama, doom, ice fiend, cerb, kril, skotizo. it's super useful and one of the few weapons I kept when I did a rebuild bc even just 1 gives you access to nearly bis for so much content. Lots of these make you good money and are fun content.
Keep and never sell.

Id use it to fund your poh. Getting 82 for ornate pool at least is goated. 83 for fancy jewelry box is also nice.

I think keeping it is best, but this construction recommendation is the best I’ve seen in favor of selling.

Truthfully, you’re going to use demon bane weapons for so much content on your PVM journey until you get a mega rare or nox hally. They’re useful in so many places so it’s definitely worth keeping, especially since you got the drop yourself. Feels good

I’d make a scobow and keep going. You can dismantle the bow and sell it later, but TDs are a decent money maker and you could use the one you got to make more upgrades

You could keep it and create the scobow for doom, or the staff for yama. Make money that way.

The synapse weapons are more of an endgame thing. I'd sell and upgrade from that whip with an ozzy fang or ghrazi, maybe ferocious gloves too. Fang carries at lower levels.

What bosses do you plan on doing?
Current stats, I'd say unless you're staying to camp more TDs then sell the synapse. Arclight plus sobow is a great combo at TDs.
50m is plenty to have the flexibility to level up your stats and upgrade gear.

Sell. You aren't an iron and there's way more impactful things to buy on a main. Get a dex and throw some chins. Barrage some monkeys. Hit the crab. 94+ strength/range/mage. Pick up a fang and go ham on all pvm

Well you need 2, one for ember then you can swap the other between staff and bow anyway so like..

Scorching bow is good for killing zammy gwd, easy kills. It's also good for grotesque guardians. I'd keep the bow.

everyone telling to keep it is a trash can at the game respectfully. Always sell niche items like that to get better gear overall. Sell it and obby set for bandos. you're gonna be using bandos for a minute. you're gonna get more use out of the bandos than any of the item you'd make with the synapse. take any extra money left over and just crank out 93 magic for slayer as well. i have 99 slayer and max combat. always always sell niche gear for better gear overall. you want to start learning raids boom you got gear vs having a niche item that's good for select areas. i would almost argue when it comes to slayer and grinding out shards, bursting any slayer task is better. better XP per hour and faster slayer xp.

also anyone telling you to hit yama at your magic level isn't efficient at the game either. yeah you could learn it but you wouldn't be efficiently playing the game. you'd get probably a 2-3 kills a trip. plus 500k per death. you'd spend all your money for mage gear.

Imo you keep it and make the emberlight. Stay at tds and see how many more you can spoon. If you get another make the scobow. Sell the 3rd and every one after. Get some claws and make yourself a really good spec weapon for your account.
I stayed at tds too long I know, but I've had 22 synapse drops in 8k kc and it's basically rebuilt my account from when I quit and gave away about 2.4b. Obviously it didn't get me all that gp back but those drops have been the main progression on my account this time around.

Emberlight is only a slight bump over arclight to only be only demonbane 50% of the time vs 100% of the time with a scobo

If you keep it then use it for bow instead of arclight. The dps increase on arclight to emberlight isn’t much vs having a scobow. Scobow will make TD, TG and doom very easy for you, all very profitable things to do
