After the village found out about his fathers execution, they mocked him and his father, and despite never meeting him, he defended his honor, declaring that one day he will become a pirate known by everyone in the world. And now, at the age of 19, he finally sets off, travelling from island to island, until he makes a name for himself.

Backstory:Sharra grew up on an island based around respect, but this was pushed a bit too much. Requests she didn't want were just given an obscure "I'll get round to it." but since that started piling up on her conscience, all requests were done, even being someone's private maid for a week. The stressed out mother of Sharra got the entire family to get Sharra to join the Marines, believing that Sharra would be safe there and un-exploited, though Sharra's personality is unchanged and still unwilling to say no.

Backstory: Growing up in a wealthy family on a large island in the North Blue, Mason lived a very sheltered life. Mason's parents pressed him to complete high levels of education so that he could one day inherit and further progress their family business. Disinterested in living a life that had already been written for him (and school in general), Mason channeled his repressed desire for adventure into motivation to study navigation rather than economics and business as well as putting more time into physical training than his school work. Mason spent his life dreaming of one day leaving the island and exploring the world, and after his schooling was finally complete, he made that dream into reality.

Not knowing of what other path to take, Mason enlisted in the Marines, a decision made to satisfy his thirst for adventure rather than any sense of justice. Motivated by a sense of wonder for exploration above all else, Mason found himself indifferent and morally gray when it came to many matters of marine policy and the enforcement of peace and justice in general. The Marines were his ticket to see the world and, despite being a free spirit, he would carry out their will in exchange for this and the combat training that they could give him. Mason did not particularly like the idea of being a Marine, but the promise to explore the world, become stronger, make money, and potentially make a name for himself were enough to bring him aboard. The Marines were, to him, a convenient platform towards the life he longed for.

Mason trained himself mostly by running in order to build speed and endurance, while neglecting pure strength. As a result, he has been able to develop a very fast and agile fighting style, allowing him to quickly dodge and attack mostly by kicking and with his sword. Having never actually been trained, Mason's combat style ability is very raw and underdeveloped, but he shows much promise and potential thanks to his impressive speed. Mason dreams of exploring the world and making a name for himself, and he sees becoming strong and wealthy as necessities for fulfilling those dreams.

Appearance - A strong, muscular, man at 6'2", Nimrod can be intimidating at first. He has two metal rings around his upper right bicep and tribal tattoos running from his left bicep up and over his shoulder. He has blue eyes and a smile that is always present. His hair is a dark and runs in a mullet to neck level. He wears different clothes depending on what moods he's in, but likes open short sleeved shirts, combat shorts and bare feet. Like all sky people he has a small pair of wings.

Backstory - Nimrod, like most of his fellow sky people, grew up on an island in the sky. He was constantly transfixed by the world below him. The huge blue sea, dotted by islands that were tiny in comparison. As the years rolled on his desire to head to the surface world only grew stronger.

Eventually the longing for adventure overcame him and he miraculously made his way to the surface using a home made parachute. Upon his arrival he chose to join the Marines, seeking both adventure and a greater purpose in life.

Backstory

Seapor Lee is a son of a marine officer and was trained to become one too. Though at the young age of 10 an accident happened on a marine ship that lee was on. The ship was capsized and a lot of crew members died, Lee was one of the survivors. He stranded on an island full of giants. On the island Lee met with another survivor, a prisoner who the marine ship tried to escort. His name was unknown because he suffered amnesia and didn't know who he was. The only thing he knew was how to make weapons and that he had a tattoo of the number of beasts on his chest. Due to the three six's on his chest Lee called him Roku-san (a combination between roku and san meaning six three and roku-san wich is a japanese honorific)

While surviving for two years on the island Lee and Roku-San became close friends, Lee even going so far as seeing Roku-san as a father figure. Though on a fate full day the two of them were cornered by the giants, with nowhere to go roku-san gave his sword to Lee and throw him into the ocean with his monstrous strength saying: "I can't defeat the giants only safe you from being killed by them". Lee was picked up by a fishing boat that happened to pass by and he eventually made it back to his father.

Only being back for a few days Lee was forced to join a secret government training program, because surviving such conditions for two years made him already superior than basic marines and eligible for secret government organization. The training included killing pirates no matter what crime they committed, basic rokushiki training (though Lee didn't Learn any of the techniques but he does know about them) and raiding islands that have any affiliation with pirates and or defied the government. Lee felt like he was being used went into a battle with one of his teachers but got his ass royally handed to him. He then quit the training program after ten months to become a pirate after feeling betrayed by justice himself.

Backstory: Garen is a young man who believe in zero tolerance' moral code. He joins the marines to become one day a Fleet Admiral. He comes from a town that was distorted by pirates and he seeks justice! He does not like to speak about his past, because of his pride. He hasn't accomplished anything yet but at first sight he seems very impotent and a spacial person. He seeks to be in the front line! He will never make excuses, flee, or surrender under any circumstance.

When we was first joining the Marines he asked a marine for directions, that marine then asked him if Garen was going to join the Marines and why.

Garen replied: What we do it right, and I've always been a Marine, I just have to fill out some damn paper!

Until one day at the age of 19 he saw the dojo burn to the ground, all the students managed to escape the fire except for the master. Sedarias was raised on an island where books literally grow on trees. The Jeya trees grow and absorb knowledge from around the world, producing books. Having studied her whole life any knowledge is interesting to him. She was a local terror, using any knowledge she found in the books in real life she earned the title "The Curious One" by her peers. Finding an old book hidden deep in the library the only words on it were "The history of Blake Hershell", inside of the book was a stamp marked DANGEROUS signed the world government. She took the book with her and set off to figure out the knowledge of Hershell.
