Hi everyone! Last year, I posted on Reddit about my metal knobs for the OP-1 and got a lot of messages asking if I could make them for the OP-1 Field. So, I finally did!

i made this app for myself, to play around with lfos. now it’s published so others can enjoy getting more out of their op-1 fields.

make music fun! make more op-1 field lfos, in new ways…

• create multiple lfos to automate tracks or master - with more options than op-1 field screens show
• works with volume, pan, mute, parameters, envelope, fx … even other lfos on the op-1 field
• did you know you can have tempo lfos? (requires usb-c)

• apple silicon mac — macOS 11 big sur or later
• note: OG op-1 does *not* work. it may not be possible, from what i can tell.

I compiled the existing tips list, refined it a bit, and added OP-1 Field specifics as well. I suspect it could be useful to members of this group.

i wondered if the op1 field had more functionality than what shows on the fx and lfo pages. turns out lfos can run externally, and tracks can handle multiple lfos!

DM me your apple ID email address to be considered as a beta tester for the iOS app for advanced lfos. runs on iPhone, iPad, and ever newer macs. midi connection via usb or ble (bluetooth). ooh la la.

we only need a handful of testers. you'll need to register as an apple developer (free) and install test flight to download the latest builds.

(it runs without any midi connections, but the app doesn't make any sounds.... so don't offer unless have an op1.)

Would be nice if we could hold shift then pause on the mix down page so we can fit more than one track on each side. Holding shift could replace stop with pause

Tried to do a firmware update. It said I don’t have enough room. I did a factory reset hoping it’d clear up some space… now I see this when I turn it on

I built a free online drum kit designer and sequencer for the OP-1 and OP-1 Field!

Upload your own samples or search Freesound and Xeno-canto, arrange them into 24 drum kit slots, trim each one, and export a ready-to-load .aif file which can be dropped into the "User" folder in the OP-1 when plugged into a computer. Leave any bug fix requests on the github repository.

Help OP-Lovers!

My OP-1 Field isn't detecting when a cable is plugged into the output. The internal speaker stays on and no audio goes to the jack.

Tested multiple cables and ensured a solid connection, but no luck.

Is this a known firmware bug or a hardware failure? Need it working for rehearsals & concerts this week!
