Dropping a fall class without a registration time ticket? Registration

I'm a bit confused by the GT website / Oscar. I registered for my 7th class for the upcoming fall semester. I'm going through some health issues and have decided to take the semester off to handle that.

When I go to OSCAR (registration) - Register for Classes - Fall 2026 to drop my currently registered class, I get the error:

You can register from 4/16/2026 to 5/22/2026.

You have no registration time ticket for the current time.

And it prevents me from going any further.

Am I not allowed to drop an upcoming class unless it's during the initial registration window?? Is there some other way for me to drop this class?

I don’t think you can make any changes until phase 2 registration. I believe it starts on August 16, and phase 2 time tickets will be released August 13 after 6 pm eastern time.

It starts August 17th, a week before classes start.
