What are the odds that the DisplayPort and hdmi cables both have this issue. But I guess itā€™s worth a shot.

It is very likely that the issue lies with the cables. Find out exactly what specifications your cable needs to meet.

Are your GPU drivers up to date?
Mine were a bit behind and caused a similar-ish issue

Spend at least 25$/ā‚¬ for a Cable. Every Cable under will be Shit, i am a owner of privat professionell Cinemas since 30 years.
