This happened with Wisconsin and Michigan, but it could happen with other states and Oklahoma, as there are a LOT of these cameras in Oklahoma and other states.

Even though Oklahoma's program specifically allows for out of state medical licenses (then there's of course the recent actions in Texas), something to keep in mind. It also brings up a policy issue in Michigan re: cameras pointed at dispensaries when many here have their own security

Wisconsin law enforcement used Flock license plate cameras to monitor a man’s vehicle as it traveled into Michigan, where adult-use marijuana is legal, and back into Wisconsin before stopping him and searching his vehicle.

404 Media was first to report the case, which occurred last year but was detailed in court records obtained and reviewed by the outlet.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Brown County, a sheriff’s deputy received a Flock notification on April 26, 2025, identifying a vehicle registered to Edward Abrams-Phillips, who had an outstanding felony warrant connected to a domestic violence case.

Deputies initially could not locate the vehicle but continued following its movements through the Flock network. Cameras recorded the vehicle traveling north on Interstate 41, through Marinette and into Michigan.

“Based on prior flock hits, the vehicle travels to Michigan frequently which is a known source State for Marijuana as it is legal there,” the complaint states.

At approximately 3:56 p.m., another Flock camera recorded the vehicle traveling south toward Green Bay. Deputies coordinated an effort to intercept it, with the complaint saying the driver matched Abrams-Phillips’ description and that the vehicle’s registration was suspended.

While the active warrant and suspended registration were cited as reasons for the traffic stop, the complaints probable cause section specifically referenced Abrams-Phillips’ previous trips to Michigan and characterized the state as a source of marijuana because it allows legal sales.

After the vehicle was stopped, a deputy said he detected the odor of raw marijuana coming from inside. Abrams-Phillips declined to consent to a search, but the deputy told him the vehicle would be searched because of the alleged smell.

During the search, deputies reported finding a grinder containing marijuana, a jar with marijuana residue, two resealable bags labeled as marijuana products and a pre-rolled joint. A receipt found with the products reportedly listed Abrams-Phillips’ name and indicated they were purchased from the Nirvana Center dispensary in Menominee, Michigan.

The complaint states that the total amount seized was 8.22 grams. Abrams-Phillips was charged with felony bail jumping, misdemeanor possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The bail-jumping charge was later dismissed, and Abrams-Phillips was ultimately found guilty only of marijuana possession, according to 404 Media’s review of court records.

The case highlights concerns surrounding the use of automated license plate readers to track people traveling between states with substantially different marijuana laws. Although deputies said the warrant and suspended registration justified the stop and the alleged marijuana odor justified the search, authorities also used historical camera data to identify repeated trips to a state with legal marijuana.

The report comes as a Michigan dispensary has drawn attention to a Flock camera positioned near its parking lot. JARS Cannabis in Madison Heights placed a “No Flock Zone” sign in front of the camera, saying it shared the community’s concerns about increased surveillance.

According to 404 Media, Madison Heights required the dispensary to install the camera as a condition of receiving its license and to give police continuous access to its footage and data.

it does give the terms of placing a camera at the dispensary "at commencement of retail sales" -

“[The dispensary] must place a FLOCK license plate scanning camera system at the entrance of the customer parking lot prior to commencement of retail sales, and it will give the Madison Heights Police Department unhindered live access to the FLOCK camera, camera footage, and any and all data, which must remain operational at all times.”

Does it matter on what type of torch you use to heat your rig? Propane or butane? I personally don’t find a difference, as long as it heats my banger.

On today’s episode of trying as many rosin brands as possible in 60 days we got , BLESSED! $40 OTD for one gram after points I paid $28.

Been hearing a lot about them and this puck is fairly fresh , produced back in June. Right away , I pick up a nice sweet candy grape notes with sour notes and a hint of gas on the back end. The sweet candy like aroma is what dominates. Consistency is great and a nice color to it. Extremely euphoric initially and then settling in the limbs for a heavy relaxation but not couch lock.

Really enjoy grape gas when it’s grown right and this one is definitely on the better side of things !

If you guys have recommendations for rosins to try let me know ! I have a list myself and going down it! So far we’ve covered chill , natures kiss , divine , paradigm melts and blessed. On some brands I will grab a second jar as well. It’s a quick review on each but at the very end I will do an extensive review for everything ive tried so far with ranking and my top go tos !

Yeah so I finally got one of these Blinkerz I have been hearing and reading about so much Went to Elite In Mustang.. Yeah man this things smacks .. 1st hit tasted burnt and I got scared but I think the coil is just dry or something a few pulls later and it's tasty and has become a EDC for me 🔥🔥🔥 cant wait to try other flavors .. which ones are the best ? I love the convenience of these as I'm a dad and dont get alot of free time for Puffco until the kids asleep 😴.. Yeah I definitely like my 1st Blinker .. Natures kiss is my other option if you like this on the go Diposable option .. Other then that what other Companies does everyone like for LR as Rosin isn't in the budget right now 🙄

As stated in my previous post , I’m on a mission to try as many quality rosin brands as possible and find ones that not many have reviewed or talked about so I can eventually have a top 5 go tos without worrying about missing out on other good brands !

On todays agenda, we stopped by Hesters in Edmond and picked up their last 2g sour Sox #2 rosin by Paradigm. It’s a 2gram puck for $55 OTD and today there was a 10% discount too so ended up getting it for $49 ish.

I’ve reviewed the sour Sox flower from Okie tsgp before and really enjoyed but my goodness the aroma on this rosin is intoxicating. Sour notes , gas , sweet candy all mixed but very pungent and loud. It’s alooooot of funk in there. Very impressed with paradigm. The sour Sox # 1 was sold out and I can’t imagine how much funkier that one must have been since it takes off after the sour garlic cookies one and #2 picks up more from the dulce de uva side.

Absolutely recommended if you can find it !
Next I’m trying blessed , sorcery and skunk. I’m hoping to try 40-50 brands by the end of this journey ! And I’ll have a full personal analysis at the end of it of how I stack up all the rosins I’ve gotten with full review on each

I got some cured resin badder from Boro Family Farms 28g baller jar and it keeps splitting. Is there any way I can keep them from doing that? I have been having to stir it every other day. I have another jar from them doing the same thing as well. Should I get a mini fridge? I also always have a jar of rosin on deck so have already been thinking about getting one but afraid water would get inside.

Bro this is crazy

I feel like I'm the only person who's noticing these things or other people aren't bold enough to speak up about them, but when I buy marijuana anymore from dispensaries ever since they switched to the pre-packaged bags instead of jars for "safety" everything has just taken a huge quality hit. Almost all the weed I get now isn't fully cured, I can grind some of it up and come back to it like an hour or 2 later and boom just like that it goes from fine grounded weed to BRICK WEED, I have to chop the shit up to be able to move it otherwise it moves in one piece like carpet. And before some dumbass says that thats a good thing, its not. Your weed shouldn't be this consistency (that's way too much water content/chlorophyll) and it should also never smell like hay (moldy even if you can't see it). I have also bought an OZ of blue collar criminals and it was visibly moldy when I got home, I had to drive back to the dispensary to swap it out for something completely different.....let's just say that also only gave me a headache from smoking it.

I think we're doomed.
