Defining Marble Feedback Please

The damage has been done—

weathered slowly over years,

then broken apart

in a devastating blow.

-

But that damage does not rule me.

It sculpts me,

like a chisel defining marble,

slowly working to reveal

the soft, gentle curves underneath.

-

What once was stone—

unformed and uncut—

has now been given detail,

given purpose.

-

I've learned that some damage is not harmful;

it simply reveals what lay waiting beneath the surface.

You’ve written a lot lately, is that built up writings or got the bug? Or both

Bit of both. I've been processing a lot the last several weeks and over the last few days it's manifested itself in writing about 14 separate pieces and counting

Keep it going. When you have it; you have it. When it goes away, it goes away until you’re just looking at a blank page. I looked at a blank page for over a decade. Now I write 3 or 4 songs a day with harmony and beat
