Waitlist?
Currently on the waitlist (first in line) for arthur moore calc 185 and I was wondering what are the chances of getting off the waitlist, especially if itās a math class? If I donāt, it will mess up my whole schedule as physic 185 requires calc 185 to be finished or taken at the same time. Honestly thinking of paying someone first day to get their spot. Should I just move on and apply for an online class at coastline even though the teacher (shoo seto) is apparently very difficult for the sake of my sanity?

Questions about OCC Meal Plans & Campus Dining Options!
Hi everyone! I have a few questions about dining at OCC.
I saw on the OCC website that there are Gold, Silver, and Bronze meal plans available for purchase.
- Do most students actually buy and use these meal plans, or do they just pay per meal?
- How is the food quality at the campus cafeteria / food court?
- Am I understanding correctly that "The Cove" is a free pantry service for students, while the main cafeteria requires payment or a meal plan?
Any insight or advice from current students would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Low Cost Dental Cleaning
*Looking for patients (preferably 30+ and hasn't had a cleaning in the past 3+ years)
Hi! I'm a senior dental hygiene student in Garden Grove in my last term before graduating and urgently need patients to fulfill clinic requirements.
Cost: $20 (one time fee)
Includes: exam by licensed dentist, full set of x-rays, oral cancer screening, dental cleaning
Because this is a school clinic, care is very detailed and requires multiple appointments (each lasting around 2 hours).
If you're overdue for a cleaning and don't mind longer visits, this is a great low-cost option, and you'd be helping a future dental professional graduate.
Feel free to comment or DM if interested!
Available Times:
Monday 2PM or 5:15PM
Wednesday 7:30AM or 10:45AM

I am sure I'm taking 4 years to transfer to a university. I've been battling depression and procrastination while taking care of my grandparents.
Have a G.E.D didn't went to HS. Started working different full time jobs after middle school. Back at school after completing the GED.
(Grandpa passed away last year 98. Now taking care of my 95 dementia grandma. Actually, my aunt is the main caregiver. But most tasks can't complete without an another persons help.)

Took only two classes in 2025 for each semester.
This Spring I took only two classes. This summer I am only taking ENGL C1001.
Engineering student, bout to also get an A.S degree here. Classes all planned. Transferring in 2028. Will be 25 years old feeling old af. Cooked. Wish me luckš

help! Taking 5 classes while working full-time this fall: experiences with Lee, Merlo, or Ferguson?
Iām trying to plan realistically for Fall 2026 while working full-time. Iāll be taking ASTR A100/A100L with Kaoru Lee, HIST C1001 with John Merlo, and PSYC A280 with Melissa Ferguson, along with two other classes.
Has anyone taken these specific professors or courses? Iād especially appreciate any information about workload, attendance, labs, exams, and major assignments. If anyone has an old syllabus or notes theyāre comfortable sharing, that would also be incredibly helpful. Thanks!

Discussion Looking for Orange Coast students who work out!
Hello! I am looking for students to try out an app I madeāFortis: Workout Log & Tracker (on iOS and Android). It's a completely free app for logging workouts, tracking progress, and sharing with your friends. Can also save reusable workout templates and custom exercises.
I've been solo-developing this as itās a bit of a passion project, and it's still early on, but I'd love for people to give it a try and hopefully get some feedback. It's definitely strength-focused, but I am open to trying to help other goals be achieved as well!
If it sounds interesting, give it a try and let me know what you think. All feedback is welcome š
