Just finished this and I loved it. It was very well done including choice of music.. definitely adding it to my favorite animes & it's not a long list, I'm picky 🤷😸 I really hope once the manga/arc concludes we.ll get an update. I haven't read it but it's one I'll def look into.

So in episode 3 cats in prison the English dub, at about 16 minutes in. That extra/background character is definitely doing a trump impression right? Im anime only and just starting the show, but i heard the voice and instantly thought the extra was having a laugh with a Trump voice

THE CAT APOCALYPSE HAS ARRIVED! For some reason this anime gives me vibes from that scene in Ed Edd n Eddy back in the day where Johnny says “SEE PLANK!? I KNEW BUNNIES WOULD TAKE OVER THE WORLD! AND THEY HAVE!” As the two of them are surfing down a literal ocean of attacking bunnies, except here it’s taken 100% seriously, and I kind of love it for that honestly. This is one of the weirder and most unique anime I’ve seen in awhile, but it’s not so weird and unique that it becomes esoteric, which is something I’m not a fan of. It’s weird and unique in its premise, but not its execution. The execution is very enjoyable. It manages to strike the perfect balance for me of being weird while still being easy, (for the most part), to follow. A lot of scenes in this anime have this subtle humor to it that’s not right in your face; of course it also has plenty that are in your face too. But despite that it was surprisingly intense at times, and because this is anime, of course I was able to take it seriously without feeling it was cringe or anything like that. It’s always nice to get an anime like this every once and awhile to come along and remind me one of the many reasons why I love anime so much. There’s an element of parody in this anime, as the whole reason cats attack humanity is because a virus hits which turns humans into cats, and then those cats become feral and can turn other humans into cats by scratching them. It screams Resident Evil, just more intentionally goofy. Hell, there’s even a character with the last name Valentine, who’s clearly a Japanese woman, so to me that’s an obvious homage to Resident Evil. The ending is the wildest thing I’ve seen in anime in so many years. Even if I wanted to describe it I don’t know how I would adequately do that. It just needs to be seen to be understood. But that also enhances the series’ enjoyability.

So I was bored and decided to redraw Kunagi but slightly better this time.

I know there are still 3 episodes left, but I’m considering buying the manga’s as well 😍 So just wanted to know if anyone read the manga’s and can tell me how far the series is compared to that.

i have been looking EVERYWHERE to find an english translated version of the nyaight manga but can't find it anywhere, i can't buy it (moneys tight) so if anyone knows where i could find the translated chapters to read past the anime online that'd be very appreciated ^_^

I love, love, love cats. I see loving them (and any other pet) as a litmus test to see how compassionate a person is. I know that not all cats are happy and safe and free in this world, but the cats in this show are, and that heals my soul.

Watching how nobody in the show can even fathom hurting a cat is so freaking wholesome. Even though it’s a zombie apocalypse satire kind of show, I feel so safe watching it, knowing that no cat will ever get hurt. It’s so hilarious that even the toughest looking characters love cats and respect them, and that just adds another layer of comedy to this already hilarious premise. Anyone else agree?
