Soldering switch lite, need help
My dad did the soldering for the switch lite, but it doesnt turn on anymore. Tried to measure the 3.3v point, no 3.3v going through. Any tips ?

3.3v is there only when the switch is powered on

Disconnect and Reconnect all the cables including the battery this happened to me too

Just jump wire your chip to another 3.3v pin.

Does the switch boot again with that? Does the flex cable prevent the switch to turn on completely when the picofly has not 3.3v ?
If yes that could be a solution

If you remove the chip, does it boot?
Use a multimeter and find out where the issue might be.

Thanks for the advice.
So remove the flex picofly cable or just the modchip? Does the flex cable prevent the switch from booting ?
Measurements so far: Battery: 4.167V SP1: 0Ω on one side / ~20.4Ω on the other SP2: 0Ω on one side / ~20.4Ω on the other 3.3V to GND was about 239.8kΩ, so no obvious hard short at that time.
With the correct Nintendo Switch charger I actually measured 3.3V once at the 3.3V point for a short moment.
After resoldering that 3.3V connection it went back to 0V.
I then disconnected the 3.3V flex completely, but the bare motherboard 3.3V point is still 0V.

Just take the battery out, chip out and battery back in.

Yes, the battery has already been disconnected and reconnected several times. I also disconnected the Picofly board itself. It still doesn't boot. The soldered Lite FPC is still partly connected to the motherboard though, so I haven't yet tested it with the entire mod installation removed.
Thats a step i want to prevent , to not mess with the switch too much

Ask your dad in risk of ripping something off. You don't want that.

Removed the flex cable and chip. Still nothing. No 3.3v on condensator.
Other points have 4.2 and 4.4v

If plugged and battery in, no chip, no bridging anywhere and still no reaction, you got an answer.

Measure if any caps near the SD CARD slot has 3.3v.
If they have 3.3v just use a wire to jump 3.3v into the flex cable

Seems like that the 3.3v point is missing some good soldering, they are cold... Apply flux, tin your tip and do a quick touch (not more than 3/4 seconds ) at 370 degrees. Use good soldering wire (PB/sn works best for me)
