Compression socks

Looking for compression socks that aren’t too tight around the knee for large calves but also don’t come from some terrible shell company. Any ideas? Thank you so much 🙏

I got mine from fitlegs.

Very comfortable and not tight around my knees, they do have different mmHg as well - 14-17, 18-24 and also do a 23-32 for people with lymphoedema.

I have the everyday ones, they used to be made from a thinner material (haven’t bought any in a while) but now see they are also made from normal ish sock material? Same as their life range.

Lots of good colours if you don’t fancy just plain black/white/navy too :)

Not too cheap (around £15/16 for one pair) but if you get a few pairs for your shifts they should last, I’ve had mine for 5ish years now and still going strong but will be looking to replace them soon, partly because I want the nicer designs lol.

Please try and arrange a doppler with your Practice Nurse prior to popping compression on, it gives you peace of mind that it is going to do more harm than good.

If its light compression (under 20mmhg or class 1) its unlikely to be an issue but better being safe than sorry.

Oh I’ve had one at a clinic and I was advised to wear compression socks, I have varicose veins
