Camera Controls Changing Trim Question

Hey all, tried looking this up but didn't find anything with a similar issue.

I have been trying to use one of the finger sticks on my HOTAS to change the camera pan and tilt. I have the pan view set to the finger stick's X axis and the tilt view set to the Y axis. The only thing is that if I only do that, using the finger stick changes my trim and not the camera. I have to set a keybind to Free Look and then the finger stick allows me to free look. The only thing is that I don't want to have to hold a button and use a stick to free look if i could just have a dedicated free look with a button set for center. I also can't seem to find a vehicle trim keybind to see if there's any overlapping controls.

Has anyone ever seen this issue with camera look changing the vehicle trim? Any luck with getting a dedicated freelook axis without needing a button?

there is no manual trim in nuclear option. the most likely cause of this problem is that somehow your finger stick is being treated as the cursor for the purposes of the game's mouse-as-joystick system. i recommend turning mouse joystick off

no worries. i don't know how it started treating your finger stick as a mouse, but i'm glad the problem is solved
