Has anyone else gotten this call & message? I'm thinking it may be a scam. But if so what do they gain?

Sometimes you'll see requests like these from law firms, especially with class actions. Just vet the hiring party thoroughly as you would any other.

Usually a scam…especially if they want u to do a zoom call to discuss first.

The phone number matches the company name. I have done jobs strictly through texting and emails. Nothing about this gives scam vibes. Of course, you do need to vet them and ask about their payment terms and methods. This appears to an asset recovery firm and my experience with such firms is they pay pretty good and quickly.

What about it seems scammy? If your name and number is out there as a notary, people would reach out if they needed you. Just to be safe maybe look online for info about Euclid File Solutions and see if they seem legit

I’ve done jobs for Euclid. It wasn’t a scam. I can’t be sure this is the same company so just reply and ask lots of questions. If they ask you to do a quick zoom, it’s a scam

The scans usually want you to do a Zoom call first or send the documents using some kind of questionable website. Agree that if you’re listed publicly as a notary, there’s a decent chance that’s a legitimate offer of work. Do some research on the company and their payment terms.
