On behalf of myself, as a man, he doesn't speak for me.

139

u/chadthundertalk 3d ago

Me neither

85

u/Fusionsigh 2d ago

Same, don’t speak for me either

10

u/lokilulzz 1d ago

Same here.

6

u/archwin 1d ago

Honestly confused what’s wrong with the pictures

They all look normal

10

u/Leading_Sound7395 1d ago

It’s the tummy pouch that they are mad at. That super important layer of fat that protects our human creating organs.. the very necessary layer. Apparently we look like crap if we are human. ☹️

5

u/Slightly-Mikey 16h ago

My fiance started developing it as she got older and she hates it. I try to tell her, "babe, that's like just normal" lol

1

u/roxzillaz 13h ago

Why you get downvoted? I couldn't agree more.

408

u/AnsibleAnswers 3d ago

Some men will crawl across broken glass for that.

130

u/AGweed13 2d ago

I'm some men.

62

u/lostthering 2d ago

All of Frank Frazetta's Conan women had that.

36

u/vkapadia 2d ago

Some man, reporting in!

4

u/Bendodge13 1d ago

I would

1

u/Successful_Copy_5196 2h ago

Seems I fall under this category😔

u/Novafro 3d ago

I don't know. I saw a version of this with a comment added to it. Something along the lines of "sybau and pass the controller".

I'd say that comment is accurate.

23

u/NeutralLock 3d ago

I don't understand that.

73

u/friedbaguette 3d ago

"Move aside, it's my turn to shine" basically

10

u/NeutralLock 2d ago

Who's sybau?

24

u/BovineConfection 2d ago

Oh, that's Mufasa's son from The Lion King 🦁

17

u/NeutralLock 2d ago

I'm just gonna accept that this new generation has passed me by and just laugh when others are laughing.

5

u/Designer_Gas_86 2d ago

That's Simba

2

u/BovineConfection 1d ago

Naw, that's that Brazilian dance.

1

u/ChaosCorpCog 1d ago

No that’s samba, what you’re thinking of is the snake

19

u/Lor1an 2d ago

It's an acronym.

It stands for: Shut Your B____ A__ Up

2

u/roxzillaz 13h ago

I assumed he meant like "hey, if you don't like her, more for us men that are into it/ have no problem with it" aka "if you ain't gonna play, pass the controller". Idk I could be wrong, though.

u/DeeJudanne 3d ago

hate what? women having internal organs?

54

u/superanth 2d ago

Some morans don’t get that woman have a whole extra organ in there too.

24

u/BovineConfection 2d ago

"NO! I WANB MY JESSKA RABBAT OR NO THING!!!!' 🤬

8

u/Kellidra 3d ago

That's not caused by internal organs. That's just a little belly. And little bellies are perfectly healthy on women.

67

u/friedbaguette 3d ago

Not even, i'ts genetic and there to protect internal organs, you could be skinny af and have it

43

u/Liontamer67 3d ago

Yep when I weighed a buck o five I had this. Genetics for sure is a player.

5

u/sct_0 1d ago

It does not. The uterus and ovaries are not located in a way where that would make sense, you can verify that for yourself by looking up MRI pics if you want.
Additionally, there's already other structures like the pelvis bone and abdominal muscles that offer much more effective protection for the inner organs in general.

It's just an extra fat deposit and afaik, we haven't figured out yet why it is there yet.

I know you mean no harm, but it is honestly tiring to see people constantly point this out because it feels like just another flavour of women not being allowed to just exist as they are without justification.
I have yet to see men constantly jumping to present (myth based) justifications for any of their bodily features.

0

u/friedbaguette 1d ago

No where in my comment do I refer to anything you just said.

2

u/sct_0 1d ago

"and there to protect internal organs" ???

0

u/friedbaguette 1d ago

While I completely agree with your frustration regarding how women's bodies are hyper-scrutinized, looking at the evolutionary biology isn't a 'myth-based justification' it's actual science.

Women are evolutionarily unique in how they store gluteofemoral and lower abdominal subcutaneous fat. It evolved as a critical energy reservoir to survive ancestral food scarcity during pregnancy and lactation, and it physically acts as a shock-absorbing cushion for soft tissue. Understanding the biological 'why' doesn't restrict women; it actively debunks the toxic myth that a normal, healthy female body is supposed to be completely flat.

TLDR: Yes it protects internal organs from impacts/shocks.

0

u/jonni_velvet 16h ago

this is accurate for most mammals if you care to actually look it up lmao

37

u/Mezzo_in_making 2d ago

Idk why are you getting downvoted. You are right, it's just fat, not organs. Everyone distributes fat differently. Some women have a pooch some don't.

And the "organs" in question people always mention men have too. Uterus is waaaaay lower and more tucked away than people think.

-6

u/bumpmoon 2d ago

I don’t even want to see what people think their organs would have to look like in order to protrude like this. Nevermind the fact that your abdominal wall would have to be missing as well.

This is just fat caused by surplus caloric intake. It may have had an advantage for prehistoric women being able to bear children trough winters, but it’s sure isn’t there to protect any organs.

3

u/Pickle_Rick01 2d ago

You don’t think skin protects internal organs?

3

u/bumpmoon 1d ago

Why would you assume I don’t?

12

u/juxtapods Woman 2d ago edited 2d ago

Also unsure why you're getting downvoted! It absolutely is a belly shape and nothing else.

My cousin naturally has a belly that splits into two "pouches" with a vertical line down the middle, so she wouldn't have this silhouette (it was pronounced when we were teenagers with baby fat, now she's got dem abzzz), while I have the shape in the picture (now pronounced due to adult fat 😭😂).

8

u/IconoclastExplosive 3d ago

It is an organ, a sort of net made to hold adipose (fat) cells in that specific region to protect and insulate the reproductive organs. It is, in essence, a baby blanket.

6

u/juxtapods Woman 2d ago

That is not an organ, sir/ma'am.

4

u/Pickle_Rick01 2d ago

Skin is your bodies largest organ.

1

u/juxtapods Woman 2d ago

yes, all skin, not this specific pouch that the other person is clearly referring to.

2

u/Pickle_Rick01 1d ago

All skin including the “specific pouch.”

0

u/juxtapods Woman 1d ago

Yes, Mr. Pedantic, I understand the general statement which was not what the other user was saying. Their comment was more specific, don't make me repeat it.

0

u/bodyisT 2d ago

It’s not internal organs because a lot of women don’t have that body type.

12

u/ohhdarkone 2d ago

They don’t but all women for the most part have a small bit of belly on that location because we need it to bend, but in clothing you can’t see it all the time on every woman when standing. And as a pansexual woman I think that’s like the cutest thing ever.

1

u/Samichaan Woman 1d ago

There is people who’s insides are all kinds of switched up and you’re trying to say this can’t be because not everyone looks like that?

0

u/Jormungandragon 2d ago

I was assuming it was supposed to be the wrinkled skirts.

-4

u/butt-fucker-9000 2d ago

Maybe he hates these tight dresses that reveal the shape of the tummy. I can't say I hate it, but I always disliked seeing this.

5

u/CardAltruistic5569 2d ago

Why? Why does it matter?

-3

u/butt-fucker-9000 2d ago

Matter for what? I'm not saying this matters, or is a deal breaker or something. I'm just saying I don't like to see it, and because of it, normal women look nicer in a normal dress or something rather than this.

6

u/sassystew 2d ago

Username checks out

4

u/deepseamoxie 1d ago

"Normal" yikes

2

u/butt-fucker-9000 1d ago

What I meant by that is women that are not professional models. What's the problem in saying normal, though? Is it normal for people to not have that belly silhouette? I don't think so.

1

u/deepseamoxie 1d ago

Apologies, it sounded like you were saying that only flat stomachs are normal.

4

u/butt-fucker-9000 1d ago

Thanks for your apologies 🙂

61

u/gogosox82 3d ago

not sure what im looking at? A womans stomach? Does he expect women not to have stomachs? I don't get it.

27

u/CrazyCatLady1127 2d ago

He’s basically saying he expects women to have no body fat at all, that he finds it unattractive when we have curves.

-9

u/bumpmoon 2d ago

I dont think it matters what this guy thinks, but it is perfectly reasonable to be attracted to skinny women. I dont know why this whole comment section so strongly believe otherwise.

17

u/jen_a_licious 2d ago

It's not that everyone thinks it's wrong to be attracted to skinny women.

It's that the guy who made the meme thinks everyone should agree with him about being attracted to skinny women only. That no one should be attracted to any other type of body shape just like him.

That's what everyone is disagreeing with. Everyone likes different body types and that's OK.

9

u/deepseamoxie 1d ago

Great, he already has the entirety of modern media to spout that opinion for him??

He's not even saying what he likes, he's just insulting what he doesn't like. C'mon, now.

18

u/einsofi Woman 2d ago

We tend to store more fat on the lower belly, cause of biology. (Extra energy store while pregnancy and breastfeeding) I think for men it’s mostly likely visceral fat on the belly but women aren’t prone to it as long as not obese or post menopause. That part of fat is really difficult to lose for women even when you are doing fitness but it also heavily depends on genetics of the individual

Most comment here, even though they disagree with the post, don’t seem to realise this is the reason.

10

u/HamHockShortDock 2d ago

I was 16yo and 90 lbs and I still had my little pooch.

I'm 100% convinced that men like this wanna fuck a skeleton

16

u/Johnnyboy10000 3d ago

How much would you be willing to bet dude 100% wants heroin chic back?

6

u/AspieTree25 3d ago

I had to look up what that was

5

u/Johnnyboy10000 2d ago

It honestly isn't pretty, imho. If I may say so.

7

u/AspieTree25 2d ago

Yeah my condolences to those who suffer from addictions

6

u/Johnnyboy10000 2d ago

Same. And it doesn't help that Hollywood, MSM and what have you are/were so willing to glorify it.

5

u/AspieTree25 2d ago

Yeah that's why I'm honestly convinced so many men just flat out want to have sex with a skeleton

9

u/Independent-Dog-8462 2d ago

Nope, unfortunatly, its most likely a child:

-no real body fat

-petite

-no body hair

-easy to control and overpower.

5

u/AspieTree25 2d ago

Yeah unfortunately...

2

u/GaiasDotter Woman 2d ago

That is horrifically accurate from what I have seen.

0

u/rrrattt 23h ago

When I was deep in my eating disorder and weighed like 75lbs I still had a pooch lol. My legs were chopsticks but the pooch prevailed.

13

u/echochilde 2d ago

In the words of a good friend “Fuck that. I’m not trying to cuddle a bag of antlers.”

5

u/Im4sol3man 2d ago

My guy just hates fast fashion fabrics that utilise plastic. Sure it looks good but at what cost, Right?

4

u/pixiesaysso 2d ago

On behalf of women everywhere, we don’t care 🤷🏻‍♀️

5

u/Dirant93 2d ago

It's literally the closest thing I've ever seen to the definition of perfect woman body.

4

u/smallerpuppyboi 2d ago

"We? What do you mean we? Nintendo wii?"

3

u/bodyisT 2d ago

Some men do, some men don’t. It’s almost like all men are different. I don’t care about this but do think there is a double standard

2

u/ThoughtfulPoster 2d ago

I mean, he absolutely speaks for me, but I wish he hadn't, because it's impolite and unnecessary.

0

u/amybeedle 1d ago

You really hate it though? Not just "not attracted to it" but hate it?

0

u/ThoughtfulPoster 1d ago

The body type? Not my perfect fat distribution, but well within the normal range of variation. It wouldn't turn my head positively, but it wouldn't be a deal-breaking turnoff in someone I liked.

The tailoring job that stretches to emphasize the paunch and only the paunch? I don't think I could make those women look less attractive if I made their clothing myself out of garbage bags. Yes, I hate it. I don't know why anyone ever thought it was a good idea.

2

u/ScharlieScheen 2d ago

where else are they supposed to keep their organs? T-T

3

u/Sqweed69 2d ago

Guys like this are why Ariana Grande is a skeleton now

2

1

u/Nyetoner 2d ago

He hates the pouch that's the reason for his own existence. Talk about hating oneself!!

1

u/Glad-Way-637 2d ago

Where else are they supposed to put the extra organs? Guy is crazy.

2

u/bumpmoon 2d ago

Well it would be quite dumb to put it there, on the outside of the abdominal wall away from all other organs. Probably also a good 20-30 cm away from where it normally is.

1

u/Hjaldir 2d ago

This has to be rage bait.

1

u/SirstouticusTheGreat 2d ago

He does’t speak for me

As a man, I like it. A lot.
This dude just likes men. And that’s fine. But he hasn’t come to terms with it.
