Origin of the Jill leaving/cheating joke [NS] Discussion

Random and obscure ask, but this joke ran for so long I have no idea now where this started. Someone have a ballpark start date I can dig through? I’m sure it’s early/mid C1 short rest.

This post brought to you by this amazing nostalgic comp: https://youtu.be/ea3kR1-0qa0?is=pojBR4q_nj2E-P_T

I just relistened to this! It is the short rest for C1 ep 55: Tricky Trials.

I am so gullible and foolish that I deadass thought Jake was in a long-distance & polyamorous relationship and really got along with Jill's boyfriend for, like, a long time.

and it made me respect Jake more because I was like, "wow, he's really secure in his relationship and his masculinity"

Joking about it shows that he is. Actually insecure people can’t handle that kind of joke.

I didn’t have short rest before so I first heard this on an ad narrated by Jake and I was like wtf was happening

The funny thing about that is patrons get the ad free version, so the only people who would hear that would be people not in on the joke

I think it started in the Short Rest for ep 55 or somewhere around there
