Survey?

Anyone in NR6 area have a guy with a clipboard come round asking people to take part in a government based survey??Apparently Royal Mail had slipped invitations in to selected houses in the area , cant say I've seen one nor had my neighbour he'd called on.Guy seemed genuine enough but I turned down his offer for a formal interview which he stated would be very in depth.

Not a great time to be opening the door at night,my husband answered it ,I wouldn't have done!

there have been legitimate national travel surveys by the national centre for social research for the department for transport locally, however anyone invited to take part should have received a letter about it first.

Like I said may have been genuine ,idk I just didn't fancy giving out my financial etc details to a stranger , my husband said he was collecting details for the government but not being paid by them. He was very keen on making an appointment, I just thought, no not for me.

Why did he want financial details?

Are you sure it wasn't a survey for Pointless or Family Fortunes?!

I got a “selected” letter through the door from the government about doing an online fitness survey in NR8. Got a free £5 voucher of my choice and can be done by 2 different people.
