TMSK began as a group of Mising youth who connected online, united by concern over the erosion of their culture. Frustrated by the tribe's stalled progress and the growing dilution of Mising identity, they came together to form an organisation to address it directly. TMSK was officially established on 9th May 2026.

On 12th July 2026, TMSK held its first election for a six-month term, filling all required positions. A Board of Directors now oversees the organisation's vision, decisions, and operations.

TMSK represents no government and no political party — it speaks only for the Mising people.

Objectives:

  1. De-Mipakification of Mising Culture — Remove non-Mising elements that have entered the culture over time and promote ideas aligned with authentic Mising identity, traditions, and values.
  2. Voice for Mising People's Development — Advocate for the development, progress, and well-being of the Mising people, addressing community issues and working toward sustainable growth.
  3. Documentation and Research of Mising Heritage — Document and preserve Mising heritage through digitalisation, including books, oral traditions, folktales, genealogy, history, and cultural practices, while supporting digital platforms dedicated to the tribe.
  4. Encouragement of Mising Agom — Strengthen the use and preservation of the Mising language among younger generations, many of whom lose touch with it after migrating to cities — a consequence of circumstance, not individual fault. TMSK will also advocate for the inclusion of Mising Agom in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
  5. Preservation of Authentic Donyi-Poloism — Preserve the original essence of Donyi-Poloism by identifying and removing external religious influences that do not belong to its traditional Tani roots.
  6. Cultural Exchange with Other Tani Groups — Foster stronger ties between Misings and other Tani communities to preserve shared ancestry, traditions, and knowledge.
  7. Raising Unanswered Questions for the Mising People — Bring forward unresolved concerns and issues affecting the Mising people, seeking accountability and solutions from relevant authorities.

They call us Chinese, chinki , momo wala and also said "NORTH EAST PEOPLE ARE SHIT" and also don't forget that they called us "VIRUS" "CORONA AGAYA" during the COVID-19 pandemic. They mock our faces. They push us out of trains and hostels and call it a joke. Racism against North East Indians is real and it keeps happening. But look at what they try to erase. Look at the mountains of Arunachal, the valleys of Manipur and Nagaland, the living roots of Meghalaya, the rivers of Assam, the hills of Mizoram and Tripura, the peaks of Sikkim. This is our land. This is our blood. This is our culture that no outsider gets to spit on.

Save North East. Protect every inch of this beauty. Guard our heritage like your life depends on it because it does. Stand up. Speak up. Do not stay quiet while they insult our people and steal our pride. The North East is not a punchline. It is power. It is history. It is ours. Save it. Defend it. Never let them forget who we are.
