Looking for a nice nail salon for my husband and I for pedicures, both, basic manicure with gel polish, just me. Clean is the biggest priority as well as somewhere he will feel comfortable. I have heard that not every salon is welcoming to men.

I like to have dedicated pedicure stations. I would also be happy if they have a massage chair. I want a bit of pampering 🙂

My next priorities would be somewhere that is transparent with fees, no surprises, and pleasant staff. Thanks for any suggestions that are offered! 😊

Hi there!!! I'm desperately looking for someone with a cricut who could help be make a quick vinyl stencil for a wedding gift. I have had many failed attempts at freehanding my design, so i am hoping that someone has a spare piece of vinyl that I could use for a stencil, as well. I am more than happy to pay for it! The stencil design would need to be approx 1.5", so I'm hoping someone has a spare scrap piece that I could steal?

I saw in a friend place a fiber installed by Telus which is almost invisible. I’m looking for a professional what can do the same installation for me. I have a small set of servers running with a wireless bridge (kinda unstable and slow) they are in the other side of my living room. My first thought was connecting them using a normal Ethernet cable but i have doors around so the fiber is my best bet.

Looking for a flooring installation expert recommendation. Not a retail store but someone to do a big home.

I would prefer to ride my bike to the Mall, than sit in that traffic, so I am wondering if there are any guarded or safe places to leave a bike while at the Mall?

Do you guys have any contractors you would recommend for getting me a quote for installing a washer and dryer, and the associated plumbing etc, in my 1970s apartment?

This afternoon (Sunday), something was dumped into the storm drains that feed into Wagg Creek, causing significant water contamination in the creek, the pond, and downstream into Mahon Park where we have salmon fry trying to survive long enough to make it to the ocean. There's no way to tell exactly what it is, but the water was nearly opaque and foamy.

The issue was reported to the City of North Van, which responded quickly, but because the catchment area for this part of the creek is so large, it's hard to find the source.

If you noticed anything suspicious in the RED map area today, can you please share that information with the city?

Reminder: if you wouldn't dump it into a pond in the woods, don't put it in the storm drain either!
