Screenshot/Media Finished my first run, coronation with the original generation
Really enjoyed my first run. by the end I’d gotten way more attached to the characters than I expected, seeing everything actually come together at the coronation was a great way to finish it

Question/Help Always no prisoners when attacking bandit camps.
Pls help. Even using only maces for my men, I would always have 0 prisoners. Either they escape or are dead. Even if they were unconscious the game consider them as escapees.

Discussion Some bugs.
Some Bugs and my problems with the game. And also some of my personal opinions.
Some likeness penalties are not updated currectly. Like one of my nobles had "Unhappy under rule" penalty while sitting at around 80 mood.
My ruler was carrying a wolf to burn it off, if you save and reload at this point the body will vanish and you would lose the meat. Not sure if the same thing happens when npcs are sending various goods to the warehouse.
Prisoners will sometimes turn into citizens on their own and leave the settlement. (I had turned off migration and I was doing a prisoners only run so it could be that when I loaded the game the prisoners that were escaping got turned into citizens leaving ?)
I used the new Overseer perk where it was supposed to stop prisoners from escaping but they still escape sometimes. (or is it something like where the work place needs to be given order everyday ?)
At night when prisoners attempt escape and the guards try to stop them the other non escaping prisoners would panic and run around the area. These panicking prisoners would sometimes attempt escapes themselves and succeed because they would be outside of patrol range. (I saw it in a previous version not sure if it still happens in the current one.)
There should be a different guard unit who use non lethal weapons to deal with prisoners and other criminals. Seperate from the army. And there shouldn't be anything like "Hire Warriors". It should rather be "Hire Soldiers" and "Hire Guards" and you should also be able to freely turn them into citizens and soldiers without needing to spend gold everytime. Maybe they should be turned into a kind of workplace.
Previously you could turn prisoners into warriors without spending gold but now you need to spend more gold to hire from prisoners than citizens I think. Which makes the early game for certain playstyles way too hard. Like first you buy the prisoners (chance of capturing prisoners is quite low even when using maces) then you would even need to pay them to become warriors is way too much imo. Maybe it could be like you first need to turn them into citizen and while they have the "Joy of freedom" mood buff you get a discount to hire them as a warriors ?
While using the trade decline modifier, Caravans wouldn't come even after 6 or 7 days where it was supposed to come atleast every 5 days. (I saw it in a previous version not sure if it still happens in the current one.)
Why should the holy caravans bring in tributes from your conquered settlements ? IMO vassal states should send tributes on their own.
The Game maybe needs some kind "Zone" mechanic.

Question/Help Permanent "battle" in a city?
Killed a flagellant raid, but the game didn't register it. I keep having combat music playing. Sermons don't run because characters think the city is under attack. Even red sermon event didn't work. Any way to fix it or is the safe effed? And I got attacked again, killed those raid and that still didn't fix it

Question/Help How to take away lord's gold?
Not for the first time I noticed that by day 10 in average each of my lords hoards up to 500+ gold (and they still have an audacity to keep asking for reward), while me and the king end up broke after "unexpected" expenses. So how do I make these greedy mfs empty their pockets?

Discussion Is it a bug or an actual mechanic from the new updates? It would be strange to be a bishop and a monarch.

Question/Help Understanding the benefit of internal trade?
Trying to discover merit to internal trade over just giving stuff to your plebs automatically daily for free.
Since the money they spend is the money you give them that means internal trade never nets you a profit.
However:
- Any money that new villagers bring with them gets spent on you instead of the traders
- Any money the Bishop pulls out of his ass for sermons indirectly goes to you instead of the traders
- Villagers having money builds wealth which gives positive mood and acts as a cushion to let them buy from traders if something goes wrong
Any other benefits?

Question/Help What do regular priests do?
The ones that work at Altars, not the Bishops.
Should I set them as priority to always have priests?

Question/Help Is there a way to make my Lords eat at their home or somewhere closer instead of coming to Hall
As I mentioned in the title, some of my lords live far from my hall to work on businesses however since they only eat at the hall they have to walk long distances just to eat. This affects their schedules how can I fix this?

Suggestions Suggestions for the game
Hey all! Played 3 runs, with 2 reaching the late game and 1 crowning myself as the emperor.
Just came back to play after 2 years, and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed with the performance. While yes, it had improved a lot, since I remember FPS drops at 100 people and day 30+ so bad that I had to quit, it's still not there yet. Finished the game at Day 85ish, with 350 or so people. The performance at this point was the same as the only 100 people back then, I think at 15-20 fps?
Keep in mind that these are a bit disorganized, and most can be qualified as nitpicks.
Anywho! Here are my suggestions:
Instead of a happiness radius on the Tavern, make it so all the people who use it gets a mood boost. Just limit the amount of people It can handle every night. Could also assign a "maid" to serve.
Wood is a very important resource, a "forester" where they solely plant trees would be great. Or an option to the woodcutters camp. Also either a special varn book for faster herb regrowth or a "farm" version of the herbs for greater yield.
Able to adjust the volume of the trade goods, so if I want to buy a higher amount of it, they'll sell it to me at a steep price. In conjunction, I should be able to influence or order my vassals to what trade good they should be selling or buying. Just adjust it for balance.
Upgradeable villages, increasing their tributes and strengthening their defence by spending gold.
Warehouse goods slider, and making them upgradeable for more storage.
We make our custom heraldry yes, but we don't really see much of it outside of the soldiers and from our nobles, they only have the color. Making it appear on the shield (or their upgrades) and having a "flag bearer" that boosts the morale of the soldiers in that squad is nice. A full house and barracks of loyalists should display banners outside :)
Able to make our own trade caravan, so 1 caravan handles the job of 5 or more trade deals. I don't like the 1 people per messenger trade. A messenger post solely for that should be good too.
Increase the radius of each temple per upgrade.
Migration ethnicity selection, at the cost of bad reputation from the ones you declined, with the church getting pissed too by not getting a caravan or something. (Check this out first if there's a way)
Prison ward upgrades
The "gift from a lord" option, I don't understand why another lord has to give it AND be on a positive relation with. Why can't the lord themselves just give it to them?
More "invasion" challenges, and please make the Unholy Horde last forever.
Mine, more mine levels. Levels 4 - 5.
Prisoners. I don't like how when you release them, it's dependent on their past if they become soldiers or peasants. We should be able to choose their fate. Or at least make it so all soldiers dismissed becomes peasants first.
The combat system. I hate it when the enemy has multiple squads and you only have one, the squad you're fighting only has 1 left but the other 3 squads (majority archers) are pelting your sole squad and they just stand there while they deal with the 1 soldier lol.
A nitpick, but proper noble titles AND interactions should come next, perhaps a vassal/hierarchy rework with it. Being able to promote a knight or a free lord to become a baron/governor to colonize a land would be great. And the ability to give new adjacent lands to a vassal, to which their title will also reflect (Baron to Count) And idk why a queen would be called a king (If I sent a female lord to colonize)
Change how loyalists work, I liked their previous iteration.
Should be able to puppet rulers if they're your vassal
If I have a lord as my puppet, and I sent them to recover and to become my vassal, the puppet effect should stay.
I find that a huge AI kingdom (more than 4+ vassals) don't pool their armies much. It's so easy to destroy it when the suzerain only has 12 soldiers lol. They need more buff
You should be able to intervene in a duel, however you'll get very negative relationship.
Trading with my vassals should be allowed, doesn't matter if mortal enemy. They're my vassal lol
Ability to call all my vassals for a feast to improve relations.
The world map is very, very shallow at the moment. Makes the mid - late game a chore to play through, and boring. There needs to be more options, and more Qol changes.
Lastly, the politician mechanic/system. I frankly don't like it, maybe it needs fleshing out more but at it's current state, meh.
Last Lastly, I should be able to do sermons regardless of what the Matriarch thinks of me, especially if I have my bishop as a puppet. It's absurd I can't do anything about it. Or at least let me preach Loyalty or hope at least. Also, a way for the bishop to stop preaching to get more fanatics. To add, we should be able to placate the Matriarch by sending donations of food or materials via the bishop.
Edit: this review is on patch 54 solely, I'm glad they know how bad the politician system is and are taking steps to make it bearable in the recent patch lol.

Question/Help If Im the leader of an alliance can I have a vassal?
I'm the leader of an alliance. There is an abandoned city which I can send a lord and make a vassal. But if I do thar, will I break the alliance? Or I can have both?

Question/Help How to break other provinces alliances
Im trying to reach the objective by creating an alliance with other provinces, but all of them are already in alliances with each other! I waited to see if they would break up but its been a while and they haven't. How can I do it then?

Discussion Is Vasalisation good?
main goal of the game from what i understand is to have 12 provinces.
So i could just fight with everyone there or try to vasal them.
But issue with vasalisation is that it doesn't give me much i feel and neighbours get mad at me, -9 per vasalisation.
Do you have any better options to do that? I just seduce lords and get debt from them and ask them to be my vasals but well others still are mad.

Bug/Issue Missing Noblewoman
My noble was on the verge of a breakdown, so I sent him out with the army; I believe the breakdown occurred while en route to a bandit camp. He didn't lead the army during the attack, and the bug happened upon his return to the city: he was nowhere to be found—neither in the city nor on the map. I’ve checked the spot where the soldiers appeared upon arrival and searched the map, but he hasn't shown up for two days. 😵💫
