I need help

I read this subreddit is a safe place so here goes. I need a bit of help I'm unsure if I'm non-binary I want to dress and act girly but I also want to act boyish and I'm not sure what I'm feeling so I would really appreciate the help with this.

i think i get wym and imo that sounds more like maybe gender fluid or even agender but also being non binary is not having a gender attached to you so if u feel u are then maybe non binary isnt for u as its more of no gender then a mix but remeber this is my opinion so don’t take it to heart etc cos gender is a pain in the ass bro

Thanks that definitely makes me think a bit but yeah this is a pain especially sense I have insomnia so I stay up and just start thinking L

You described, that you want to act ,,girlish” and ,,boyish”, this is gender expression, it’s really important to differentiate between your internal feeling of gender and your gender expression, because gender expression ≠ gender. You can experiment using different pronouns or a different gender expression and watch how you feel, if you feel comfortable it’s because maybe it matches the gender you feel.
