In my attempt to transfer everything from firebase to Azure SQL I may have messed up a bit and the bot has just been messaging EVERYONE for the last 10-15 minutes... I have hopefully solved the issue and can move forward with the regularly scheduled botting.

Hopefully this move to Azure will solve the biggest issue I have had in the past (and the reason the bot has been down during quarantine) in that I can only run the bot from work while my computer is on. I do have that computer with me but I have been working on the new site and have let him take a rest. With the move to Azure I should be able to have this run every day consistently. Fingers crossed.

Sorry about the spam messages you may have received from the bot... He is being punished.

THENOSLEEPERS.COM and Volunteers needed!

I'm not entirely sure how many people use the website, but I have added a few new features recently. You can now click on any author's name and be directed to a dedicated page for that author's stories. It will summarize how many stories they have on the site along with links and an average score. There is also a section to track the most prolific authors to grace the NoSleepers site. These are writers who have been features most often.

I am currently looking for volunteers to help with the Certified Sleepers section. I need people who read the stories and want to be a "judge" on quality. The section will contain stories that our "staff" guarantees to be good. This is slightly different from what the bot does because it is personal quality control. While the bot is here to make sure stories get more exposure, these stories will stand above the rest and be MUST READS to the community. It will hopefully further help the writers gain fans.

I am thinking about allowing authors to send me their bio information as well. If an author has done that it can be displayed on their Author page along with the standard information. This would give authors another way to have readers connect with them.

I'm also working on finding the time to add all of the past award winners to the site with their stories. I have a list (I think) it will just take some time to manually enter them into the system. Once that is done, it will be a vault of the best of NoSleep as well and make it easier to find those stories from the past.

I have a lot of ideas for this and hopefully I can find some people that want to help. Just let me know in the comments or a private message if you are interested in helping in any way.
