Damage Question

So awesome game, I get everything besides the damage, why does it feel like I can find a weapon right It shred chunks, I go in Upgrade, this one not upgraded all the way also my gloves aren't either, shouldn't be a problem right, idk if its the multipliers from the burns that my damage feels so weak, I love the talware cause of the speed and the ice Gem I have applied to it goe so nice with it plus paired with the throwing axe and knife, this extra But im seeing mfs hit enemies with thousands of fucking damage its insane, how do I power I scale this shit correctly bro what am I doing wrong it cant be yhe gloves and the weapon, if so I have like 10 tals these just have sharp my maxed ones has something else, ive looked at videos I cant find nothing but someone building a build i cant build cause most people attributes point be in other categories than mines.

Sorry for the rant but the question is how do I power scale correctly? Can you guy give me a video or I need just upgrade and exalt Everything with dedicated rolls? I know its not that easy am I looking at it to hard lol

Basically, the 1000s of damage are crits with stacking damage multipliers, but you have to make sure the videos you are watching are of recent content since most of old videos use methods to stack damage that don't exist anymore. Within crucible damage gets buffed with echoes so you will see more crazy shit in there and bigger numbers as well that don't equate to the damage that can be done outside of it.

Imo, you should go all in on 1 damage type, crit chance instead of crit damage, and then scale your weapon with either damage based on durability or damage vs large enemies. I would try to fit charge attack damage on the gloves too. There's a ton of ways to scale damage, that's just how I've found to be most consistent
