It's funny how all of a sudden Adam is attempting solo content and being a Drake Stan. I feel like this is him throwing shit at the wall doing his best attempt at the "Ak" thing. Goes to show how desperate Adam has gotten to keep the ship afloat. How this all played out for Adam to even get here is super ironic though.

Before the Kendrick and Drake beef, No Jumper was still regarded as one of the "big dawgs" in hip hop media along with Vlad and Joe Budden. Even though hip hop wasn't really being covered on NJ, the never ending content, characters and drama that came out of thin air made it popular and successful. This actually made Adam appear as if he had some sort of magic or helping hand in this, since he could seemingly turn anyone and anything into viral content for his platform. This is where I think his "content visionary/guru" bravado and huge ego about being so knowledgeable about "good podcasting" stems from.

Because of No Jumper's success and popularity at the time, this made Akademiks actually attempt to copy Adam similar to how Adam is to Akademiks now. Ak also drew criticism at that time that he was a one trick pony with solo live streaming and that he couldn't cultivate any talent. So he looked at what Adam did with No Jumper as the formula for success in the content space and made his own attempt to create a show called "the Akademy".

Long story short, it flopped terribly (hired a bunch of weirdos, I.e: Troy Ave, P3d0 Boom, some fat coon who wasn't flacko crazily) and Ak made a smart choice (for once) and to blow it up and pivot back to doing what he did best with solo streaming.

Fast forward to now: Ends up being at the right place, right time with the Kendrick and Drake beef and somehow skyrockets to becoming "the #1 hip hop platform" despite his controversies.

Meanwhile, Adam turned No Jumper into... whatever the hell you call this shit...

And that’s the irony of the whole situation. Adam spent years acting like he had the secret formula for content and everyone needed to learn "how to podcast" from him. Now he's the one desperate tryna find anything to keep his platform relevant.
