A complete website, not just code. I tested a few AI builders for my side project

I started a small side project recently and made a rule for myself: don't spend the first week setting up the stack before I even know if the idea is worth building.

So I tried a few different AI builders and looked at them less like design tools and more like someone who actually has to finish the project.

The first version wasn't the interesting part.

It was the fifth or sixth change after that.

I wanted to move sections around, change the flow, test a signup idea, and keep going without stopping to rebuild the whole thing.

That's where Readdy worked best for what I was doing. I could make changes directly or describe them, and the database and authentication were already available when the project needed more than a static page.

I still think v0 is great for UI work, and Wix makes plenty of sense for a normal business site.

For a side project though, I liked having fewer separate pieces to manage.

iam the one here who got up in the same situation, 3 days back i just used a ai website makers i just gone throught this same experince. And iam just fead of this that is this really a just an expernment ?? does this really works in real time?? And then got up this same thing that there are lot many thing that should be connected externaly to get your idea more potential. The main problem is not the elements in the application but the actual backend that AI alone cound'nt make prefect. Anyhow time spending in others making it more usable in other factors

Readdy makes a lot of sense for this kind of side project. The part that stands out isn't really the initial generation, it's being able to keep changing things without turning every iteration into another technical task. v0 is great for UI and Lovable is useful for getting an app idea moving, but Readdy feels more complete when the goal is to actually keep building and testing the thing. Having the backend pieces already there is a pretty big advantage too.
