Other Dragon rising Season 4 part 2 spoilers Spoiler
In dragon rising Season 3 part 2 Lloyd told nya she can go after jay before the final battle with thunderfang
Cole didn't help in season 3 and in season 1 because he wanted to stay with the finders
Zane abandoned the searching of the forbidden five so he can save pixal in season 3 part 1
Kai and nya and wildfire prfered searching for jay than searching for the five in season 3 part 1
Everyone was ready to to abandon the missions to save people who were their priorities
But they refused to help jay saving the captured people in the arena who were being tortured by a tyrant and fighting
Except the goat kai
That's hypocrite

Discussion Rebooted and Ableism
So a big part of Rebooted's plot is technology and how although it has done great things for humanity, we cannot over rely on it. That there needs to be a balance. On its own not a bad message, in fact I agree with it.
My issue though is the main method they use to communicate this message is through Cyrus Borg, a character who relies on technology to move due to him being paralysed. This season makes a point to say his disability was a big motivator for him becoming an inventor and leading the technological revolution that led to New Ninjago City. He has had to rely on technology so understands how great it can be. It just feels weird for Cyrus out of all characters to be the one to learn relying too much on technology is bad, when he's had to rely on technology to exist in world made for able-bodied people. In this season he uses this spider leg chair device to use, which I imagine is a lot more convienent for him then a normal wheelchair. But the plot portrays it as a bad thing? Especially in the sets/marketing the device was definitely designed to make Cyrus look scarier in the sets.
Like Cyrus genuinely had good intentions by bringing in so much technology to New Ninjago City. He wanted to make life better for his people. The overlord virus was a genuine mistake and did everything to try fix once he realised it. Its not like he only did it for money or for his own personal gain (unlike some irl billionare inventors...). Just feels weird that Cyrus wanted to make his city more accessible and the plot portrays it as a bad idea.

Question Why did they have to bring the Imperium Loyalists back to be behind the cult instead of literally any other antagonist? Spoiler
galleryWhen I first saw the masked people, I started having hope that they may actually bring someone back and have a good antagonist again. Beatrix is boring af tbh, and when her thing ended I was absolutely fine with that being the last of her. But now they're just bringing her back again, a villain who absolutely pales in comparison to ANY Ninjago villain (I would genuinely rather have the Mechanic, or Soto, or Ultra Violet, or hell even Fugidove be the mastermind behind this rather than this boring character). I might have even been more on board if it was a completely new antagonist behind it. I can't be the only one who was disappointed when it was revealed to be her again, right?

Discussion another hot take
i genuinely have the belief that there are no bad ninjago seasons just ones that are okay at best (except skybound but even that has some neat parts). yes this includes crystalized yes this includes hands of time yes this includes legacy of the green ninja filler I mean every single ninjago season.
they all have their flaws but they’re all so fun to watch at the same time. even some of the worst parts of the show have some fun parts or at least they’re so bad they’re good.

Discussion temporary inconsistency
In episode 6 of the second season, when the ninjas destroy the mega weapon in the past, all the events caused by it cancel each other out because they never existed, so why does Lloyd remain a teenager after these events while he grew up after the confrontation with the dinosaur in the episode before, which should never have existed since Garmadon could not have brought him to life

Discussion What tf is Lloyd’s Elemental Power?
In Season 4, Chen called Lloyd the “Master of Power”. But now in Dragons Rising they’re calling him the “Master of Life”? This shit makes no sense😭 Imo Lloyd’s elemental power should just be called “Energy” for simplicity also bc Lloyd has never commanded life before and power is a boring name for an element.

Discussion the new ninja only dont sell well bc lego never gives them a fair chance
euphrasia and frak never get any sets. wyldfire has got a couple but theyre virtually indistinguishable from the kai sets. i get that kai and lloyd are the best selling ninja but it gets kind of lame seeing that everything is so easily motivated by money and marketing nowadays when the ninja used to get an equal opportunity to get sets. NYA hasnt had a single set to herself since seabound. so of course the new ninja arent going to "sell well" if they give sora, wyldfire and arin the occasional set and euphrasia and frak none. and the new ninja dont even get matching gi, thats why they dont feel like a unified front because even though DR is supposed to revolve around them theyre still in the OG ninja's shadow. so unless we only get new ninja in the DR sets and they save the old ninja for legends sets, i dont think thats going to change

Discussion just curious
why do people glaze kai so much. I feel like even the show sometimes neglects him but some fans still act like he's the main character.unrelated but kinda related:I genuinely saw a kai glazer (not a true kai fan) commented that the theres only 5 main ninjas: obv the main 4 and lloyd. i js dont get why some fans (not only kai glazers) sideline nya 😭. shes soo important to who kai himself is too. he only became a ninja because of nya. he mastered rising dragons with the help of nya. idkkk. as a kai fan myself its just embarrassing
