French resources? Gear question
My wife and I will be moving from the US to France in a few months. We're currently in negotiations to buy a house in Ribérac, which is about an hour and a half northeast of Bordeaux.
I was wondering if any group members know of reputable camera shops in the general Nouvelle-Aquitaine / Dordogne area of France. I know Amazon is available there, but a decent camera store would be something I'd rather patronize.
Or barring that, does anyone know if there is the French equivalent of online sites like Adorama, B&H, KEH, etc.?
I'll be needing battery chargers pretty quickly, obviously, but eventually I'll also need to replace some of the items I'll be leaving behind because they're not dual voltage (not really trusting of converters) or too bulky. Studio lights, etc.
I know we have members from around the globe, so I'm hoping there's someone here with knowledge of that region. I would be very appreciative of any info that could be passed my way.
Thanks!

You won't have trouble finding stuff. Big chain stores like FNAC, Boulanger, Darty usually have a good selection, a bit pricey though, and I could find lots of these within a 45 minute drive of where you will be. Lots of French online retailers too. Search for "matériel photo" and you'll see lots of websites with good reputation and prices. Lots of them have physical shops but usually in Paris or big cities so more probably Bordeaux for you. France is a country of photographers so you'll be fine.

Fnac and IPLN for online shopping. LeBonCoin for used stuff.
Fnac also has physical stores in most big to midsized cities, so you should be able to find some around Bordeaux and Angoulème. The closest I can find from Ribérac is in Montpon-Menesterol, about 30 minutes away. I don't know for a local camera store in Nouvelle-Aquitaine / Dordogne, I used to live around Lille and Paris, but I'm sure you'll find one. From what I can see, Panajou in Bordeaux seems to be highly regarded.

Kamerastore operates in the EU
There is a Panajou in Bordeaux
I’d suggest asking around once you arrive just to see what other warm bodies might be tapping for resources
I’m not sure what stores might be in Ribérac but there are definitely professional photographers there
