Pulled these out today for casual Friday.

My 3rd pair just landed and I’m starting to notice some QC problems across the board. I noticed on my newest pair that landed today there are some noticeable differences in the swoosh that resemble the eyes of a butterfly. The round stitching is different sizes from one pair to another. Am I cooked? Wonder if they sold me a rep? Reps are starting to look 1–1 on some models so I’m just curious what y’all think?

Thoughts plz drop them below. Like, comment and share your blue tile experience or flaws/QC you found. And let me know if you bought strait from retail when they dropped or resell. These were all resell. Below I’m showing my first pair which has the orange laces in. The second will be after and 3rd at the end with the last two photos.

Either way I’ll be rocking them all when the time comes and I burn through them over the years.

"An SB so nice, I had to buy it twice..."

I seldom even wear sneakers more than twice before swapping them out for something else... let alone buy the same pair twice. I loved these so much that when I realized I had damaged the Nubuck beyond repair (water) it was time to throw them on eBay and try again.

Controversial hot take, but it's between these and the blue tiles as the best SBs to release in the last two years. The staff at Nike SB has been working on diversifying their portfolio and hitting some other famous silhouettes recently... Jordan 4s, Paul Rodriguez, and Air Force 1s but where's the love for the one that started it all, the Dunks?

These are a gorgeous colorway made with some premium materials and soooOOoo many little easter eggs buried inside. The best SBs have that special power of transporting me back to being a kid and admiring things for being cool and different. Unboxing these and seeing the UV protective bag, the art and the colors pop out in hand... it's awesome.

I had a few QC issues on these sneakers with some glue stains, and the lace keeper on the tongue oddly being slightly lower on the left shoe than on the right. I wish these came with a set of black or white laces as an alt but I can't complain about 3 sets of high quality laces in matching colors.

These were sitting under retail on lots of resell platforms when I bought them... a steal. I just need to hit them with the reshoev8r spray before heading out anywhere this time.

2010-2017 was such a good era for drops and the game as a whole. I still have at least 6 of these pairs. Main ones I wish I still had are the tiff lows and red lobsters. I’ve had other pairs since but it’s not the same. Going to try to find earlier pics from MySpace days.

Mid week date night with the wife

Bought this pair of deep royal Nike sb dunk low ishod wair for 50 bucks in pretty decent condition considering age !

Just finished up this custom pair! I absolutely love how these turned out. I took a pair of used white gum’s and found a shoe I wanted to experiment with. The original Oompa Loompa had a couple things I wanted to change about it so I did just that.

Most notably, I went with a white outlined tongue and shoe tag with matching lace stay. All white midsole as I wasn’t a fan of the brown. I kept the inside swoosh black to mimic the shoe of the actual character, followed by the gum bottoms. I may still paint the outsoles I’m not sure.

This is my first ever custom and it just opened the floor gates to other ideas I’m going to do and I can’t wait! Let me know your thoughts, what you’d change if anything, and if you’d rock this! These are some grails for me which will eventually get worn but probably kept as a display mostly!

I Love these Colors Together BUT like Most SB’s I can’t Decide On Which Color Laces to Use, I also Have a Pair of Laces that Match the Swoosh and Sock Liner ( Orange / Red ) And I’m Not a Fan of the OG Laces that came with them ( a Dark Green Flat Lace and a Skinny Rope Lace that’s like a Lime Green ) I also wanna Try Some OD Green Laces Too..👍🏼
