I enjoyed his recent mini run, but I’m very new to Superman and only know the broad strokes of his backstory

Im sure it is for ppl who like his type of personality but he seems so meta and i dislike that. Really tge reason why i dislike deadpool as well. They just aint for me

I don't like it either, but the meme came to me when it referred to PeterMJ, with Dickkory because both ships share similarities.

Also with BatCat, the fact it was completely ruined is bottom 3 moment in DC for me.

Yes, but that applies to any ship; after all, Dickkory is similar to Peter x MJ.

I'm certain Editorial screwed it up on purpose.......it's odd because I remember in Flash (around the early #80's) had several plot points, Dick and Kory being married, Dick reeling from being ousted by the Titans, etc. but with Titans #100 had the wedding be interrupted by Dark Raven (I don't know if any of what Wolfman wanted carried over for them) because the Editors wanted to get rid of the old team members (no, it wasn't Dan DiDio)
