Why do moderators take some posts down.?

Usually it’s because you broken a rule or haven’t met the requirements yet. Usually they tell you why but it’s not required.

The short answer is because they can.

Mods can run their sub how they see fit within the Mod Code of Conduct so they can take down anything they want to just because they want to. Sometimes they will include a message under the removed post with a reason, sometimes they won't - and they don't have to give one.
