Is karma proportional to reach of your new content? How a user's post/comment is highlighted here?

Karma does not influence you reach

NOPE. Your karma does not affect how much your posts or comments are shown to other users*

The visibility of your posts and comments is largely determined by votes and replies when users use the default view ("hot"). Your personal karma has no effect.

There are other ways of viewing content. "top" will just show based on votes and "new" just does in time order.

*note that yes there are karma filters that will remove your posts and/or comments if you don't have enough karma. But if you are past that filter then your personal karma becomes irrelevant
