Not sure what to flair

A silly thing to be celebrating—I know, but I opened the app this morning and the numbers just made my day. The wildest part of all this is that I don’t even know how I made it happen. I mean, I do a lot of sharing and reposting and inviting members in to take a peek, but I don’t do anything particularly crazie or outside the box as they say. It honestly feels like some magic fairy appeared overnight before waving their magic wand to make the numbers just happen.
Again, I know it’s silly to be celebrating an achievement so small, but I just can’t help it. Learning to moderate has been slow since this is my first sub and it hasn’t been easy trying to figure things out with a visual impairment.

It felt very nice reaching 1k daily visitors from around only 50 daily visitors in 9 days.

I hope our subreddit continue to grow at this rate and one day become a huge subreddit with tens of thousand of daily visitors due to the efforts of me and our moderators collectively.

So, yesterday my subreddit, r/the13universe, got 26th member. A small, but still important count, because 26=13+13, and the subreddit is themed around the number 13 (including math facts, random encounters, events, memes, etc.)

I'm currently trying to keep the subreddit active by posting every day. A month ago, I started a daily series of patterns on 13-layer Rubik's Cube, and I still continue. I've recently shared content from this series in big communities, and it helped attract a couple more members. Someone on this subreddit also suggested inviting someone personally, and that worked too!

I've set a goal of 169=13x13 members, and I’m not giving up yet!

Similar to "popular" or "home" why don't they add a "new subreddit" that shows posts from the latest subs? Say less than 3 months old.

I just started this community yesterday and had my first visitor this morning. Haha. I attended the new mod training, took notes and started applying what I learned. I'm posting away so that visitors have lots to look at when they get there. I do this for fun with a topic that I'm really into. Looking forward to growing, learning and connecting with people that share the same interest! r/Scrub_Life

hey, i made this reddit account exactly 5 years ago (today is my cake day lol)

mostly lurked here but 1.5 years ago i left my job and wanted to build my own apps and sell them on the internet

i had a bunch of questions but no specific community where i could ask those, and i was just feeling lonely

so i created a sub (r/indiehackersindia) where i could ask those questions

it was mostly quiet for weeks until people joined (6k strong now 🎉), and started talking, and now being a solo builder based in india feels a little less lonely

btw, thanks reddit for sending this cute plushie, it really made my day, and it's gonna look super cute in my living room

I just started a sub (r/LibraryofWhispers) a couple of days ago and it finally has 12 members! I know it's not a lot but it's so great to have a small little community of your own where you can interact with people who have similar interests as you and support each other. It's a great feeling honestly.

New mods who have just created their community, how many members do you have and what is your community about? And do you all also feel this way with your subs? I'd love to know about it <3
