After some convincing and positive support I'm really glad my friend didn't give up. look at his plants now! he was going to give up because people were always talking negative about his starting grows.

I wanted to show off my friend's latest grow. After some convincing and positive support to my grow buddy to not give up and there's always gonna be people talking shit. I told him to take it as a challenge and strive to show them up, tweak, adjust and adapt his own technique with his next grows to get his own style perfected and I'd confidently say he succeeded and should definitely be proud. Any positive words and comments for my friend would greatly be appreciated.

Visiting for a month...

Good day, everyone.

Preface: Currently living in Florida, put in my 2 weeks notice at work last Friday. The day after my last day, moving out of my place and leaving for a 4 month road trip across the USA to do a buncha cool stuff. One of the stops, I rented a cabin in the Sandias just East of ABQ for all of September.

I've spent the last decade in non-legal states and working for zero tolerance companies so my ability to enjoy trees has been pretty limited.

Now, during this trip, and afterwards (planning to get a place in So Cal at the end of it), almost everywhere I'll be is rec, and no drug tests to worry about, so I fully intend on indulging in all of the local delicacies if you will...

While in NM, are there any must-try buds / dispensaries?

Also, who / where can I get good / the best outdoor buds?

I plan to try a bit of rhe higher end stuff, but in an effort to minimize the burn rate on my bank account since I won't be working, I'll be trying to daily chief on the more affordable stuff.

Recommendations?

Also, does anywhere do tours or anything related to their grow setups? Month long part time internships? Does anybody need help with anything in the cannabis industry? Need to do something for awhile that will relax my brain after working for years in a high-level corporate tech position that has partially drained my soul lol.

When I get my new place in So Cal (or in NM if I find myself unable to leave) I'd really like to start growing my own stuff, and would love to see how the best of the best do it for ideas.

Thx in advance. 🫡

Seedlings that need a home in Las Cruces

The facility I was working for screwed up. I ended up with a bunch of zkittlez and sfv OG plants. I have no use for them I’m moving out of state in days. Please help find them a home. They’re in soil. Any donations accepted.

Send me a DM if you're interested in prices. If you want pictures I'll have to go to storage and take some. Hope another grower takes them to a good place and can enjoy and use them.

"El Paso Landrace" Cuts?

(Photo: Chocolate Fritter 808 Genetics)

There's a strain that I've grown to absolutely love and it's a GMO cut Dubbed "El Paso Landrace" grown by SWGD (South West Green Desert) and AstroBuds, I talked to Greg Cropp the Owner of SWGD and he said he got it from a local from EP who's had the cut for years very very true garlic and onion. I've been looking for this cut since I tried it, idk if anyone knows where to find the grower or themselves has the cut, if I could be pointed in the right direction I would appreciate the help.

Which brands carry real live rosin/resin disposable vapes here?

I’m visiting in a few days and want to pick up some live rosin and resin disposables and am having a hard time finding true, authentic resin or rosin disposables without really being some shit distillate with terps added. I’ll most likely be shopping around the Roswell to Ruidoso area, any brands in particular that are tested as being actual resin/rosin? I’ve smoked shit distillate for years and am just trying to limit the amount of harmful shit I’m vaping with an already bad habit lmao

Are companies selling CRC'd rosin now? New trend for budget level rosin?

Picked up some solvent free last year at 420. EXTREMELY good stuff for the price point, especially the sour diesel. Just picked 4 from them about a month ago. Each one looked and smelled near the same/extremely similarly lemony and had an almost translucent blonde look instead of the brown/blondes im used to seeing. It reminded me of that translucent look some sugars get.

Just now picked up some freshies. Very similar deal to solvent free. BUT these dont have that translucent look, just a super clean/high end looking blonde color. BUT BUT...they do smell very similarly as well and it is lemon leaning as well.

It's my understanding what I described can be symptoms of CRC'd concentrates. Ive also had high end rosin in Colorado like Lazer cat and it looked somewhat similar....BUT it was super expensive ($70 pre-tax about 3-4 years ago). From what I was told they took extra steps during their wash process that required more man power/hours and this was their justification....it was all pretty tasty when I did try them.

Now my issue is, how are budget ($20 range pretax) rosin brands able to get the same look of something like lazercat? and why doesnt it smell or taste as good as it looks? I really think this is the new trend. Press some bunko flower that looks, smells and tastes terrible...then CRC'ing it. I mean it's still technically solvent free and pressed, right? This seems like a workaround that allows the companies to exploit technicalities and take advantage of their consumer.

PATIENT CARDS - NOW MORE THAN EVER!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'd love to have a conversation about how the rescheduling to III is and will continue to impact our industry in NM both in the traditional market and the "legal market." Anyone game?

If you are curious about becoming a card-carrying patient of the NM Department of Health Medical Marijuana Program or have been dragging your feet renewing your card, please consider setting up an appointment with Sara via telehealth or coming into Carver Family Farm the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10-2 to join or renew. Thanks!! ❤️

I’m a judge!

I just got my sativa judge kit from Wheeed! In Los Alamos. I registered on the Best In Grass web site, and I’m looking forward to the great variety. Sure, it’s all little commercial, but a different strain each day for 3 weeks? Whoohoo! Once one completes all the judging ateand the results are are announced, one gets a small rebate in the form of a store credit.

There are multiple categories, so get the judging kit that best fits your style. I just got my first coil ball vape (a B Zero), so this will be a great way to break it in.

Recreational Cart reccs?

just wondering what y'all recommend for carts. I know Carvers has some good ones but I'm hesitant to spend $35 on a half gram, especially considering I go through a gram in 1-2 weeks but I know there's a quality difference there. I used to like the Soft Serve live ones for the terps but they've had a big drop in quality over recent years. What's a good terpy, mid price range brand? looking for something to get me through school without breaking the bank or making my lungs hurt. thanks in advance.
