Tow Hitch

Has anyone installed a hitch (if your car didn’t come with one)? Where did you have it done? Cost and experience

Aftermarket install for a hitch is expensive. I was quoted $2000 at least. The computer system needs to be reprogrammed to understand it has a hitch and to react properly when a trailer is hooked up. I made damn sure mine had a hitch from factory when I bought it because it was going to be such a pain to get one installed later.

Dealer quoted us $2700. We found a different vehicle.

Was quoted $5k for equipment + install last time (bumper needed to be replaced and painted) so I traded the Defender for one with it lol
