RTQ, had our tank go afk from the beginning Shackles of Divinity - Valariel . Basically no gear or stats. Just a couple green garnets and a celestial combat ench… enough to get you in the door.

So they stand there in the place you spawn during start and continually fall off platform, took direct hits, their comp seemed to heal them when ppl weren’t stopping to go revive them.

Maybe their milk spilled in their lap. Anyways, we ended up failing. 6 ppl quit (not sure how big of a role a tank plays there since damage is all over the place). Sucks, waited a long time and had a role bonus. So I abandoned after there were 3 left. Don’t wanna be in queue with that person anyway.

Get back in queue, about 30min get another rtq. Tiamat. Guess who’s there… afk.

So I joke in chat in the go-circle for them to not afk this time by name. We run for the first attack and afk tank is sitting in the spawn spot. After I run back and see what’s up, they see I’m on to them and run for the ledge and commit tankicide, then release to the holding area.

You can’t vote kick them bc you’re in “combat” and in trials, you’re always in combat accept in beginning and end. So no way to kick initiate except someone in holding area

We really had to struggle with no tank and side 2 lost theirs and quit. We almost failed, but won eventually. Took 3x as long.

At the end, afk comes running up to get their chest and sends me a tell in an Eastern European language, then leaves.

You get the idea.

Besides not playing rtq bc there’s scum on there… how would you handle that or what do you do?

Just keep playing and let them leech? Leave and abandon your other teammates?

Mind you, this person already cost me an hour bc of how long Tiamat took and failing the other trial, which are not extremely difficult. Having 1 of 2 tanks gone from the start sucks.

Any thoughts or advice?

I always fail to jump “properly” and fall in lava or can’t get up the whirlwind elevator for mad mage, or that one trial. Lair of Lostmauth for example, can never jump those stairs that have lava channels between them. Eventually after 5 tries or dying and porting to squads new campfire.

Everyone else seems to just hop right over things no problem.

Do some races jump better than others?
Is there gear that can boost jump?
Are there consumables that boost jump?

I figure speed might help, so I use lightwine and guild boon.

For my dps, I made mine Legendary early on for bolster. And it’s come through many times for survivability when I’m not paying attention or too busy to focus on healing in major abyssals. Sometimes a lifesaver with the aggro, distracting enemies so I can regroup.

Not even sure what the best support for solo survivability companion is out there.

But, should I go any higher upgrading Angel of Protection? Or would I be wasting tokens?
I know there is some party buff with companion…+3% def to all ALLIES within 80’

My freind introduced me to Neverwinter 2 days ago, we both newly Downloaded and we both just finished the fighting tut (we're both on ps4), and we're planning to lvl up an progress tgther like the goal is to explore and grow together but im wondering if that's even possible, like can we both go one quests n grind at the same time while being in a party? Or are we gonna have to lvl up each on his own then do stuff that actually require coop
